If you want to see an airport go to F10, click on the airport icon and then press F11 For any generic spot go to F10, put the spot you want in the center of your screen and press Ctrl+F11 (cant remember right now if left or right Ctrl). Note: your zoom on the F10 map dictates how high your camera will be when pressing the combination.
-
Nun, du scheinst so ziemlich ein Einzelfall zu sein...
-
In that case check your controls. WASD should move the camera if you are in the Ctrl+F2 view.

Nein.

Have you tried running a repair?
-
There is no option for that, it's only on or on. But maybe check your water settings.

True vs Magnetic heading?

The pod can be loaded onto station 6.

Remove the gripen mod, it causes issues with the ships.

You manually overwrite the coordinates of a waypoint you don't need with the one you want.

I *think* the file for that is in the saved games directory so a repair won't help. You'll have to wait for someone to provide that file here (sorry, I am not on my computer right now).

What do the words of the ATC mean in the radio?
razo+r replied to loscsaba86's topic in Missions and Campaigns
You have various options to count the distance you have flown. One is with radio navigation like you used. RSBN or with a DME, if available. As a backup method, you can also use good old math and a stopwatch. Fly a known speed, like 300kts for example. Divide by 60 and you get 5nm per minute. Or 600kph, divided by 60 and you get 10km per minute. Together with the given distance and a stopwatch, you can calculate how long you have to fly. So for your example, 45 divided by 10 and you have to fly 4 and a half minute to get there. ATC "guides" you to that point. Once you have arrived there, it is up to you to commence the approach. ATC will only tell you to contact tower/clear to land once you are closer to the airfield. It will not tell you anything once you have arrived at the initial point. (Or at least that's how I remember it). But the be 100% honest with you, the current system is almost useless, except for giving you the active runway and perhaps wind. I mean, giving you a vector to that initial point is more or less useless. If you are flying IFR, you'll most likely use other systems or procedures that will take you there safely. Especially in the MiG-21 or older aircraft in general without GNSS, flying to a "random" point in space from your current position where you might not even have a radio station around, you'll probably want to home to a station first and then fly to the point, so the vector given doesn't help, especially if they don't give you continuous and updated vectors, like in DCS currently. And in VMC you can just look on the map/kneeboard and out the windows. And the pressure given is 99% useless too. Majority of aircraft in DCS and operators around the world use QNH and not QFE. There are of course exceptions and especially old aircraft and eastern operators (and one or another western operator) did and are still using QFE. But then again, that's up to you if you want to use it or not... -
AJS37 poor flight controls, unstable and no engine thrust
razo+r replied to Aero_105's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
You should only have to use rudder on the ground, in the air pretty much not at all, unless you have SPAK disabled. Only then you have to apply a bit of rudder for coordinated rolls/turns. The Viggen can fly as aggressive as an F-15, but only once. After that all your speed is depleted and you'lll be a sitting duck. So, different airframe, different way to fly. It's the ground attack version after all. If you get into a dogfight with an F-15, many things went wrong. Not saying you cannot try that, but it's definitly a bad idea with a predictable result. -

What you describe does not sound right, but we need more informations from you. Make sure you follow the stadard troubleshooting steps, like checking your controls, turn off arcade/game flight mode, if necessary remove all mods, run a repair etc. Also, upload a short track. That will help a lot more. -
As soon as Magnitude releases the F-4U along with the japanese assets and ED with the map and other stuff. No date available.

Ah, hab Signaturen ausgeschaltet, daher hab ich das nicht gesehen...

Wäre gut wenn du deine Spezifikationen nennen könntest. Das würde helfen, Vorschläge für dich zu machen.

What do the words of the ATC mean in the radio?
razo+r replied to loscsaba86's topic in Missions and Campaigns
It is the distance to a point infront the active runway axis some distance away. Also might be on Km instead of nm depending on the country. -
It's been a few months since what? A request? Do we even know they started working on it?
-
(Don't forget the WWII assets pack that itself alone adds another 7 years of EA)
-
Sorry, I don't want to go off topic, but I just noticed something. The wingspan scale, you have a 10 mark all the way to the right, then the next mark is 11, which is your setting, then you have 12 (long vertical line with small horizontal line through it), 13, 14, 15 and the 16 that is marked with 15? Or is the big vertical line not 12? Judging by the non linear spacing I guess I am wrong?

fa18c external lighting - strobes / possition lights
razo+r replied to Ghostmaker's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
There is a light master switch on the throttle that you have to turn on aswell. Don't think that one is clickable so look in the controls for the keybind.
