With flaps you are shifting the center of pressure and decreasing the lift, so both can happen simultaniously. Shifting the center of pressure will result in a different moment around the CoG and that in turn, in combination with the design of the wing and tailplane, will dictate how the aircraft will pitch, while the loss of lift will result in sinking/less climb. This is just a matter of normal aircraft physics/how it is designed. Even a Cessna reacts with a bit of pitch when operating flaps.

Everyone who wants to use ILS needs to have that file modified. It won't prevent you from hosting anything, but it allows personal preference wheter one wants to have it or not.

There should be a beacon.lua in the installation directory of the map (DCS/mods/terrain) where you can add any beacons you want. Also worth a shot searching first if someone already did such a mod.

What coalition is your aircraft assigned to? Have you tried it with the unrestricted SATNAV option enabled? Can you reproduce it on another map?

Have you already tried removing all of your mods (if you have any) and running a repair?

The Maverick isn't really maneuverable either, so make sure you fire at an acceptable distance within reasonable limits. And like Czar said, you should upload a short track for us to see what's happening.

I think the ECM takes some time to warm up before you can use it. How long did you wait after putting it into ON and trying to activate it?

Can you perhaps expand on your issue a bit? Like did you set the frequency for the FAC beforehand? What is "contacting ATC is hit or mis"? What exactly do you mean the comm menu does nothing? Which aircraft? Did you set the frequency for the units? Did you set the frequency for your own aircraft? Pressed correct PTT button? Within radio range? Line of sight to the unit? Do you have example missions and tracks to upload?

Double crosswind correction. After first break, you are obviously too close or too far. By applying one crosswind correction, you'll fly the correct track, if you double it you'll fly further outward/inward, giving you more space for the second turn. Or simply adjust your bank angle depending on your needs/wind direction.

Do you perhaps have a track? In my very limited testing, they only appear, if you are slow, at 1.6Gs, or fast at 2Gs and above. So if you see them in level flight with a hint of back pressure, either it's more than just a hint of back pressure, or you are slow to begin with.

Make sure that 1) you have the JHMCS equipped and not the NVG. You can only take either or. 2) You have not pressed and held DMS down. This toggles the JHMCS on/off.

Normally there is no pilot head, as it would obstruct the normal view. However, there are two ways to get it. The first one is to simply move the outside camera in the cockpit. The second one is by maybe tricking the view outside of the view limits, you may get it to load the external pilot model into the cockpit model, or something like that. I don't know how to do that, though there was a topic around on how to do that with the F-16. You might be able to do the same for the F-5.
