  1. A "T" is often displayed on the lower right hand side. I wonder what it represents though. I've searched the manual but can't find anything there.
  2. Not all of them. I'm currently flying Maple Flag's TQT and it's working fine.
  3. All aircrafts crash in 2.2. It's not just the Viggen.
  4. See if you pass the integrity check. It seems like it has been updated recently and is harder to pass now. I've been kicked off several times like you until I went out and deleted some mods to make sure I pass it.
  5. Awesome ride! Thanks for sharing.
  6. I guess it would explain why the F-5 is able to have a higher AoA in turns and thus bleed more speed.
  7. I'm experiencing a very odd bug. The G-Breath effect is gone on all aircrafts, pretty much overnight and I cannot figure out why. I recently bought and installed the Mirage, Viggen and Gazelle but it shouldn't have anything to do with that. I made sure the G-Breath effect was enabled in the menu and I even checked in options.lua. I also ran a repair and checked if the sound files were present where they should be... Any idea?
  8. I've had a lot of crashes recently and it's not specific to Belsimtek modules.
  9. A laptop with a GTX 1060 would be pretty good, and if possible with 16 GB of RAM.
  10. On TAC 19 when I contacted Boar, Springfield and Ford flights, they didn't respond. Also after killing all targets and getting a "playtime's over, land & shutdown I'll give you a rating" call, I landed and shutdown but then nothing. FE remained silent. Probably because I didn't flew all the waypoints until the end, I went straight for the landing...? One last thing I'd like to know: does changing payloads affect mission success? Only two mavericks and two Mk.82 isn't exactly the best payload for killing that many tanks... especially when you have AAA around shooting at you. EDIT: It came down to not flying the last few waypoints. Redid the mission and passed it with a loadout of 4x cbu-97 & 2x agm-65d.
  11. +1
  12. After watching towards the end of the video what comes to my mind is the check out part that I didn't do. Probably the cause of my problem. EDIT: Yeah that was it. Just replayed the mission and passed it this time.
  13. There is definitely some truth in what you say. There will always be bugs and we have to accept it. What I meant though is that we shouldn't take it as a reason to not ask for a minimum. The missions must be playable and there can be small glitches but if the thing becomes straight unplayable then it's simply unacceptable and should be fixed asap.
  14. You can be a pc gamer and want to enjoy bug free games. The two can go together. When I buy something be it on PC or anything else, I expect to be able to use it properly. I think it's the minimum for any paid product.
  15. By the way what's the role of the canopy disengage lever in the real airplane? I've always wondered what it was used for.
  16. I enter MGRS coordinates in the CDU everyday and it works fine so you must be doing something wrong buddy. I'd recommend taking a second read at the manual.
  17. Ok, I understand now why I was often getting abort cues for no apparent reason. It's probably coming from the SEM setting. Next time I will set it to none and see if it helps. Thanks!
  18. I tried the mission a second time and got the same result. FE told me to knock it off because I exited the range even though he ordered me beforehand to RTB... Here is the link to the track.
  19. I was curious to know what's the point of setting up all the parameters in the DSMS? For a mk-82 for example I'm talking about SEM, DES TOF, RT, UP, EJECT, RACK. Is it going to help me make a better pass and if so then why?
  20. Awesome, glad to hear the problem has been sorted out! By the way, I tried the C-101 in VR and I must say the cockpit looks stunning. It's neatly modeled and gives a great sense of depth in virtual reality.
  21. Ok, well I guess my failure must come from the fact that I ordered the F-15s to strike after I destroyed their targets... :music_whistling:  Just another question if I may. At one point the FE says it's better to set your datalink ID to 01-01 if you're working with a JTAC. But why is that? How is it any better than using another ID?
  22. The new trilogy is clearly not the offspring of George Lucas. Those days are gonne. Commercial crap, that's all it is now. :noexpression:
  23. Yup. I remember the podcast from September 2016 with retired A-10C pilot Pete Olsen who said the Gau-8 round was designed to go through a T-72 at 1.2 NM (or something along those lines, I can't remember). After hearing this I jumped into DCS and tried to replicate it and boy it was clearly not in line with what Pete said. I found that I needed to set the value to 0.0009 in order to kill those tanks at the advertised distance. For those who weren't aware of the issue already, here is what you need to do: Find the text file named shell_table.lua located in C:\program files\eagle dynamics\DCS World\Config\Weapons In this .lua file search for gau8, find the line Da0 and replace the current value by 0.0009 (or 0.0005 if you want to go with what the OP said). Do that for the three different gau8 round types listed and you're done.
  24. I've taken the C-101 for a little ride and was surprised to see that even after two years the constant static noise in the background is still present. It's weird because the noise seems to have no specific origin. I've tried turning off radio equipments to see if it solves the problem but it didn't. It is always there in the background, be it on the ground at 0 knots or in flight. I hope we're gonna get rid of it in the next update.
  25. Just a quick question. In tac 18, you aren't supposed to check in with JTAC Uzi, right? I want to know because I tried to contact him, he didn't respond and I failed to pass the mission. Failure probably comes from something else but I just wanted to be sure.
