  1. Very hard to read in VR. I wonder if there is a way to make the display bigger - like tablet size on the pilots knee?
  2. Would have voted improved weather but I think we need Vulkan implementation before we can have a modern weather system due to frame rate constraints.
  3. I find it way too high ..at least in VR looking at parked hornets. The object count sky rockets and fps plummet even though the image is pretty blurry in VR. Cam we reduce the LODs manually for the hornet?
  4. Would be nice to have full shadowing of the pilots head. So that if you lean in or to the side of the cockpit the pilots head shadow is represented accordingly. At the moment, it seems only rotation is modelled...at least in hornet.

  9. Yep me too with the CV1. I can turn off ASW with the keyboard shortcuts or the debug tool and see it working, but my frames are locked at 45 or 30/22 if I drop too low.
  10. I'm getting big framerate drops when i look at static hornets. Can someone tell me where the LOD file for the hornet is stored. Can't seem to find it.
  11. Agreed...but more than anything else the thing that kills frames for me is looking at another hornet. The object count goes way up and my frames go the opposite direction. Try the instant action caucsaus Hornet ' ready on the ramp' mission and taxi down towards the parked hornets.

  13. Hi guys, was wondering if there is a small warthog joyystick extension out there for sale?. I have an 80mm one but looking for something a little smaller around the 50-60mm range.

  15. I find also changing the IPD on the original rift had little impact until I got down towards the lower ranges. Looking forward to the rift s. After the pimax, I realised ease of use, good software, minimal distortions, and good frame rates are more important than increased resolution and fov.

  17. IPD adjustment helps but I can't get a clear image like I can in the rift. I'm going to compare my unit with a friends to see if it is a problem with the headset of my setup
  18. Do you need to run steamvr for the Pimax headset to work properly? I've been just loading up Pitool and running DCS, which then launches oculus program in the background but no steamvr. However, I can't for the life of me get a clear image - everything seems a little cross-eyed and distorted no matter where i place the headset on my head. Yes - i have parallel projections enabled.
  19. I've gone back to my rift...for the life of me I can't get a good image in the Pimax, and I've tried pretty much every suggestion out there. I feel like I'm wearing my wife's glasses everytime I put the headset on
  20. I'd be quite happy if ED spent equal time on the clouds/atmospheric effects as they do on terrain.

  23. Last I heard Q2 for base stations. I went and bought a 2nd hand base station off ebay instead.
  24. I went for the 1080ti due to the 11GB video memory. No regrets so far :)
  25. What about the CPU?
