  1. Gorgeous cubanace your work is a great addition to DCS! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  2. Yes, you are correct the hose and drogue are very simplistic currently. It is something ED is working on with the early access of the Hornet.
  3. Reading through the campaign notes there seems to be an opportunity to expand it if other flyable aircraft became available. Operating Blackhawks and Little Birds from destroyers, frigates, and the oil platforms at night would be a great challenge! Not to mention the speculation about what other aircraft and units are being added to the mix, makes my head spin! I think your underwear is safe for now, the first one is a photo. Unless something has changed Nick said the wing glove extensions on the Tomcats are going to be non-operational. If I recall they gave the Cat a boost in high energy turns, but they were difficult to maintain. Which is why they were deactivated.
  4. Thanks.... Thanks a lot man,now I need a cold shower! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  5. Hey guys, I was recently flying through the challenge campaign again, and on Mission 8 flying under the bridges. The last two gates have a stand of trees mostly blocking them in the 2.5 open beta. I was able to make it through the gates, but I wasn't able to actually make it under the bridge.
  6. They have Gates you setup in the mission editor. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

  8. What type of add on are you referring to? There are already virtual Thunderbirds, Blue Angeles, Red Arrows, and Warbird display teams. If I remember correctly there were at least two virtual airshows last year. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

  11. Thanks for the update Cobra! Looks like exciting times ahead for Heatblur! I have one request though, can you guys keep Chromecat around? Lol, she would make a great evil henchmen skin for videos! Have a great break, Merry Christmas and Happy Yule! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  12. The lag in the flak is because of manuvering offset from the flak aim point. Unless they are connected to a Würzburg radar or a Kommandogerät gun control computer sighting targets is done by eye. Also, the guns are laid and trained by hand regardless of the fire control method. Yes, i know it's all AI controlled in game! Try flying straight and level at medium altitude through a dozen flak 88s they'll find you real quick! Lol! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  13. Hello gents, I'm having some issues with mission three, it seems like I'm missing a trigger, not flying to the right area, or not staying close enough to the SU-24s. So far I've flown the mission five different ways and can't seem to get past where Magic tells you to "wait one" after you have arrived at way-point two. In each of my flights the Fencers fly straight for Vaziani and begin dropping bombs. What I've tried so far: -flown straight at the Fencers from WP 1 and 2, maintained lock on at least one of the baddies all the way in, and forced all of them to drop their ordinance. They regroup and continue for Vaziani. -orbit at way-point two at 20,000 while the Fencers continue for Vaziani, locking them up as I orbit towards them. -fly the route to way-point three then turn in behind the Fencer flight locking them up and trailing them to Vaziani. Anyone else have any success on this mission, where am I going astray? Thanks for the help

  17. av8b n/a and harrier gr7 differences While the strakes may work with the LIDS to prevent HGI and improve the lift generated while in or near the hover. The strakes or the gun-pods played a large roll improving the lateral stability of the Harrier. Losing one or having them damaged will be interesting. Thanks for the attention to detail here Zeus!
  18. Well it's nice to know that we will have to be within 25 or so miles to get a good read with Belsimtek's new F-4. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  19. Um... Ya.... Just go ahead and have mine gift wrapped. I'll be one of the first in line to pre-order as soon as your third party status is announced!
  20. I believe there is a precision landing light system mounted on the superstructure. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  21. Killer news on the modules gents. The upcoming functionality updates sound amazing! Wish you all good hunting for the research trips
  22. That is a biiiiiiiiig boom! I think I would have soiled myself if that had gone off in front of me!
  23. Probably going to have to ask the guys in Leatherneck Cobra and Heatblur don't control the Mig-21 anymore. Dolphin 887 is the lead there I believe.
  24. I'll sure many people buy modules expecting a perfect product. With some they just don't both with the fine print or haven't been around DCS long! Lol!
  25. The Marine Corps Night Attack version uses a single 25mm cannon in its own pod mounted on the centerline. The other pod is used to house and feed ammunition to the cannon pod.
