I think it makes lot of sense, the D is different enough as to charge as a new module, whilst lot of the art and system modelling would remains virtually identical. It's all down to whether enough info can be collected about the D (which seems quite a challenge)

I think that behavior might be correct. Big objects like Bridges or buildings might exceed the size of the lock gate. That's what the agm-85h was designed for.

CCIP and Auto are the basis of any ground attack aircraft, and after a couple of years the very foundations of both are broken in the Harrier.

I really hope neither VEAO or RAZBAM pursuit it. The only trustworthy 3rd party realism-wise today is HB, tornado deserves a proper implementation in DCS and not a rushed, cash motivated one like the harrier. Regards!

If the aircraft had complex adaptative inlets to manage inbound shock waves then yes, but Viggen has fixed ones that can choke, so it might be possible that the Viggen experiments such a wall IRL Regards
