Absolutely, good pedals are a must, especially for helicopters. I used to use twist ruder before I got my pedals, and the difference is huge!

You can't use bonus points on products that are already on sale.

It would be nice to have the shortcut, I agree. Until it's implemented, you can use F keys, IIRC it's F7 for contacting AWACS, F4 for bogey dope. Takes only a second :)

+1 Even though I know exactly where the manuals are located, I often look for them online because it's usually quicker and easier then digging through all those folders...

It's not unusual, release often catches up with the beta, resulting with both being identical. Until the next patch... :D

Try "F-15C Radar Tool" if you're not sure how radar cone works. It's obviously made for F-15, but the principle is the same (min and max altitudes are placed on the left side of -f-15 radar). You can see how moving the antenna affects what the radar sees at different distances and altitudes.

I have CH throttle for two years or so, the throttle axis was very jittery from day one. Bending the pins helped a lot, but it was never perfect. Other two axes, the mini joystick, also jitter a bit and sometimes don't recenter. There are plenty of buttons, no issues with any of them so far. Because of the issues with the axes, I would not recommend it.

Yep, that's the one. At least for normal comms with AI, I never used Simple Radio so I don't know how it works.

The radios have very limited functionality at the moment. Use only Comm 1 radio, presets only, and presets from Radio 2 list in the Mission editor. Use the default comms menu key.

I don't know about the trees, but I'm sure AI can't see through buildings and certainly not through hills.

I didn't realize DCS needs to be saved? :huh: Anyway, I don't think CE2 will neither make nor break DCS, it will be just another great aircraft to fly and enjoy.

Decrease your FOV, i.e. zoom in.

I guess If they did more tests, the update probably wouldn't made it into today's patch. You would then complain because of the delay... Have some patience, it will be fixed.

Level flight or very shallow dive, 500kt at <200ft, CCIP. Maybe not the most effective, but for me the most fun bomb delivery method. :D
