If this happens in Start Menu Options try changing settings in-game instead. If its crashing in-game try out of the game. Usually one or the other works.
Some skins only work when you select certain country they represent. You can open description LUA and down at bottom you'll see a line that starts countries= and lists country/countries skin works with.
You can add any country you want by opening file with Notepad++ and adding it to list like this ( "RUS")
Although you could get away with on board graphics and 8 gigs of RAM with a 1.x version of DCS there's no way 2.x versions are ever going to run well with this set up. Not sure if graphics card is all you need but that at a bare minimum.
With M2000 you can't hold weap realease. You have to wait for visual cue and press it at right time.
...and unless its been fixed aiming cross doesn't get placed where you designate making it impossible to drop accurately.
You can copy back Config , missions, and in ME - unitpayload folder and gdoptions LUA for mission preferences and logbook.
Problems are often in Options LUA, metashaders folders, and I've heard fxo folder too.
Tested and new nvg works. Check in game options that your in Simulation Mode and check in Controls options that you're using Sim controls not Game Avionics mode or Game controls.
If you prefer using release version hang onto 1.5 so it can be updated to that. If you're OK with OB version delete 1.5 and just keep updating your current 2.5. Or as Sith pointed out you can force Beta version to Release if you want later.
I haven't tried FXAA but it seemed MXAA was making it look a little better but with a performance hit.
I had given up on Nvid Cont Panel AA but after seeing it advised and giving it another try with the enhance app setting (2X) it looks better than with MXAA and seems to be giving me the best performance along with in game MSAA 2X and 4X AF.
Not a bug, outside pylons work as long as you have rockets on inner pylons. You aren't supposed to mix rockets and bombs or bomb combinations. You can get away with rockets on inner pylons and 2 types of bombs or 3 types of bombs on ones that take them.
This mod just adds a little more variety to bluefor grd forces. I've added Stryker platoons and more mixed M1/M2 platoons.(even at minimal level)
Just drop file into: Saved Games / DCS / Mission Editor
Do you already have 2.5 installed? It should work. See if it shows Flaming Cliffs in module manager. If not you can try entering activation key in your profile after logging in to DCS Homepage. Theres a box for checking activations.
