  1. I messed up my navpoints the other day in MP and tried to reset it by landing, switching off, removing cartridge, redoing everything. Was still messed up. I'd like to know this too.
  2. It doesn't have to be 'real'. Nothing in this game is real. Its all makebelief stuff. All it needs to do is convince us (and we look at tables and data and stuff, so a bit of work) that it works like the real thing. There's a saying: All models are wrong but some are useful Turbulence should be modelled in one way or another and it should affect the planes with low wing loading more than the ones with higher loading, especially at low level. Would be really cool.
  3. GBUs have fins on them, they probably don't have the same ballistics as a mk-82, I also find they overshoot. Beluga is CCIP though?
  4. Was just trying to place some bombs close to some targets. When I'm a few miles away I can see them fairly clearly then there's a point where they suddenly become invisible and then when I'm MUCH closer I can start making them out. It should be the other way round, more difficult from further with no sudden jump (wtf did it just go!?) in visibility. PLS ED help us!
  5. Nope. This is exactly what we need though. To be able to spawn and destroy warehouses and modify their contents directly from a script like: warehouse = DCSWarehouse("Batumi WH") warehouse.missiles.aim9p = 50 and so on. Having this we can start working towards BMS-esque dynamic campaigns and really fun multiplayer missions without having to jump through ridiculous hoops.
  6. Thanks. I guess I can just run some experiments, however tedious that may be.
  7. The Viggen isn't meant for what you want. The solution is to do what whaaw said. Mavericks OR Rocket pods (set to fire singles) OR gun pods and RB05. You can't drop bombs one by one and you need to know the air pressure at the target to drop bombs accurately.
  8. These flames are pretty cool. If this is a taste of whats to come with all the new lighting / effects then I'll be pretty happy.
  9. HOJ on 530s? Is that real? If so, N00bs for lunch all day :D
  10. You must fly lower. 80m is still high.
  11. The Blue colour of the chat is also unreadable on the green landscape. It should be much lighter.
  12. You're flying too high for that speed. Ccip pipper is below the hud. Those bombs have a lot of drag. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. +1
  14. Its true. Blue has a lot of lone warriors and inexperienced pilots. Without a couple of groups who fly together, blue will lose every time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. it is doing the radar emitter location triangulations. Probably significant enough calculation that it holds up the engine for a second or two. Happens on mine too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Hi All, I'm trying to understand the resource manager better. I have a small mission with some fuel tanks, ammo bunkers and warehouses. I want them to supply fuel, equipment (weapons) and airframes to a base. Now, I can imagine how much fuel is 1 tonne thereof but how much airframe (and equipment) do I get for 1 tonne? Do I get 4x Mk82 for 1t? Do I need 10t for an A10C? Can ED or someone else provide me with some insight please?
  17. When landing, set Master arm to safe, select A2A gun (will set it all to NAV mode) then select landing mode (3rd button on top row of PCN, or press 3). This will give you the landing mode HUD indications. Keep the velocity vector and the brackets on the runway threshold, control descent rate with throttle. Easy peasy.
  18. For sure. I play on Blue and I'm getting bored seeing the same things all the time. I think some randomization of defenses would be nice. Maybe on each mission restart, for each base, with some probability add a really nasty SAM at the base. So that when you attack it, you're not sure what exactly you're going to see there.
  19. Helljumper is correct. You probably either trimmed the aircraft in air or you used autopilot or both. To stop this warning double tap the autopilot standby button to make it reset.
  20. Me too. Transparent and pages won't turn. I think it happens when I've been flying a different plane then switch to viggen.
  21. Your INS is not aligned. You must wait for the flashing "INS NAV READY" message on the CDU before clicking on "NAV" and then the EGI button in front of the stick. Otherwise your EAC switch behind the throttle can't be set to on and you'll have the EAC warning light on.
  22. Multiplayer problems You need to enable port Forwarding for 10308 on the router. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I would rather have them decreased. Also take into account deaths vs time out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
