  1. Right up there with Wing Flex...
  2. It ain’t that way with TrackIR. Pretty much useless.
  3. Be careful what you wish for...
  4. The HUD graphics are too high on the combiner glass.
  5. Already documented that you can’t bump the range in TWS.
  6. Pretty sure A/P disco’s with the refueling door open. And if it doesn’t, it should.
  7. I’m guessing they are maybe a scale for rudder pedal height adjustment in the real jet?
  8. There's an odd POV mis-match going on... And what I mean by that is while the default position "feels" like my head is a bit too low (which does feel better with a couple of taps on the switch to raise the seat a bit), the HUD feels as if the display is shifted up too much. IOW, if I raise the seat even a little, the horizon (and the gun sight) are so far up that they are basically getting cut off. I can tip my head down a little, but that makes my TrackIR go stupid. As it sits right now (after the update and hotfixes), I can see a lot of "Off Dry" calls on gun runs because I either can't see the gun sight or my view will have gone wonky because my TIR went stupid. I'd shift the total HUD display down some on the combiner glass. And the interior lights do need some "umph" as well. If I were sitting in a pitch black room where my eyes were fully dilated, then the lighting might be ok but under normal room lighting (which I do keep low), the lighting needs to be enhanced by maybe half. The artwork (minus any character via weathering) is very, very good. Everything is now nice and crisp with no doubled up lettering and nothing is fuzzy. I give it a 7/10 as is but it does need some tweaks and I'm glad to read that's coming.
  9. I "feel" like I'm sitting a bit too low, but the HUD display is set a bit too high. The horizon and gun sight fall too high in the HUD to allow me to raise the seat at all because they get completely cut off at the top if I do.
  10. TMS Down toggles the JHMCS Off/On in the Viper (with the rotary dial turned up)
  11. My car doesn’t spend 6+ months at sea on a carrier.
  12. I stand corrected on the concept of enhanced capabilities...
  13. True, but I don’t know what else besides at least some kind of a bump in suite would warrant additional pay to play. They’ve already done a ton of work to “upgrade” the basic pit structure and artwork (for free) and really, any weathering can be tackled by those in the community who posses the talent to do so, so at the end of the day, I think the only thing they really could charge for are enhanced capabilities. When you consider the gee whiz avionics being created for the Hornet and Viper, I think it’s just a logical conclusion. Just my $0.02...
  14. It’s also a page or two up: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4144014&postcount=40
  15. Actually, Nine Line said it on Reddit. At least that’s according to a screen grab posted to our Discord.
  16. Honestly, I’d prefer a choice to not use this new version. Current version works just fine and I’d rather keep it until said “retail version” becomes available.
  17. Link no workie
  18. This... It looks awfully sterile and without character.
  19. Thanks very much.
  20. So you feel we actually got a glass? Hmmm... Ok.
  21. Yeah, there’s something amiss in that system. I experience exactly the same thing. Get it going on heading and after a short while, you need a quick flick of roll trim to bring the nose back to where you want it. Sometimes it will settle where you want it, but sometimes it will continue to wander off course the other direction. Drift / Flick / Drift / Flick... You can get the jet to hold a constant heading with Heading Mode, but you have to dial in the necessary magnetic variation on the heading bug or else the jet will track a True Heading. Chalk it up to WIP I guess.
  22. Many MP servers ask players to land to one side to deconflict with possible departures going out on a reciprocal heading.
  23. Canadian Hornets in SoCal are likely headed to / from NAF El Centro. They’re frequent visitors there. I’ve been fortunate to go on board at El Centro on several occasions to shoot. The bulk of the Hornet shots in this gallery have come from El Centro visits: https://crosswindimages.com/p404947472
