  1. That video has had a LOT of work done on the audio, post production. I can tell that the bass frequencies below about 300Mhz have been given a big boost. It comes through even in the music at the end, that kick has had the low end massively boosted.
  2. I'm not sure you have the displacement right... however, the spit sounds chunky to me:
  3. I don't think the DCS audio is that far off as it is:
  4. All missions updated to v.53 - new RADAR code added, thanks to Wiggy for helping me with this. This should reduce the chances that radar will report a landed contact, and will prevent people chasing after aircraft which are not flying. - moved some units around - changed Channel C on all allied aircraft to 131 Mhz and added note to briefings
  5. SoW has implemented a new "ribbons" section on the player stats pages. Congratulations to all awarded pilots for April. See the full post below. http://www.stormofwar.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=54685#p54685 .
  6. Player data download has been enabled today. Unfortunately I have seen aircraft bouncing around and the damage model doing silly things. I will be turning it back off.
  7. OK, This will be re-enabled soon. Just waiting for multiplayer stability fixed from ED. We've turned a few things off in the meantime, this being one of them. But it is not planned to stay that way for long.
  8. possibly. . . see replies below
  9. Using the interior cockpit illumination lights acts as an environmental light source that lights up the surrounding are/ reflects off runway etc.
  10. I have no idea whatsoever which setting might be causing this. Maybe ask around in the multiplayer bug forums? It is possibly a server-side setting, I just wouldn't have a clue which . . .
  11. I suspect the free fly mission must have the assets in it. oops, ED! Odd.. try opening the Normandy map int he mission editor, clean no mods. Add a flyable spitfire. save the mission run the mission If you're not sure how to do that, let me know and I will build you a test mission to try.
  12. No, you can fly the spitfire over the Normandy map without owning the assets. However, if the mission you are using was created with any of the WW2 assets, then you will also need to buy the assets yourself.
  13. Or alternatively, assign the non-luftwaffe skin away from the Third Reich country. Currently Japanese skins and all sorts can be used by the "third Reich" country - which is unacceptable.
  14. Is it possible to have JTAC role that remove the ability for JTAC to deploy the Red/Green/Orange smoke?
  15. The A8 isn't so unpopular. It's the 4th most flown machine and the 2nd most effective ground attack aircraft on the storm of war server. http://www.stormofwar.org/?Page=dcs/stats/aircraft I'd love the G-6 in DCS. Would really help with the coherency of planeset.
  16. This sort of thing only happens to me if I overboost
  17. this can probably be done with scripting already....
  18. No. It's during the blackout.
  19. The following assets from the Ww2 pack are not visible to clients in multiplayer: 1. Trains 2. Barrage Balloons 3. The beams from "on" search lights Items 1 and 2 have been this way since they were released... more than a year now. These have been reported numerous times by customers. It would be nice to get an indication if ED is aware and is allocating work on these items.
  20. Yes! Trains Barrage Balloons Searchlight beams None of the above show in multiplayer for clients.
  21. Here are some red and yellow tracers - you can see that in real life they look like lasers too. 4:42 is a good place to watch a nice line of tracers. This video is of some single-round green tracers:
  22. You can set the codes yourself, using the re-arm menu. Also, on SoW server, every single aircraft has a unique code. And where I have access to the information all aircraft are set to a specific squadron and given the correct code. Furthermore, players can also change these codes, if they don't like the ones provided. For example, this 19 Sqn. P51: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/344731750502498305/704330383642329128/SoW240420d.png?width=866&height=487 .
  23. All missions on the server now updated to v50. Change details: Added more ships on all missions, to allow for more anti-shipping strikes Implemented the restricted allied munitions in France, mission-by-mission, with updated briefings. 24. Hi folks, What do I need to do in the Mission Editor to make it possible for someone with Combined Arms to take a Tactical Commander slot AND use a radio channel to talk to players via SRS?
  25. Is it the LS's DM, or the Torps being weak? If you hit it with bombs is it just as hard to kill?
