Huge thanks to you guys! Can't wait to see and try these out on the new model :D
-
What the chaps are talking about is, that updates are normally released between 16:00 and 18:00 pm UTC + 2 not an midnight 00:00 UTC + 2. So no need to worry yet, mate. Cheers

First, i think these Q&A's are extremely valuable for the community to get an inside in the "bigger plan" - very big thanks for that The Question: I would like to know if ED plans to release future aircraft possibly with upgrade packs or release upgrade packs for them. E.g. with the announced F-16C there are so many different versions out there. Will this be handled like with the Hornet, that ED pics a specific Airframe from a specific Lot of a specific Block or will these over time highly upgraded airframes be sold with the possibility of bying certain upgrade packs as addons? Cheers

Israeli livery :D: -
i can't wait to see the israeli IDF/IAF-Skin - super glad they include this one right away!!

I would love to see mainly Aircraft that are impossible to do as study sim modules in the near future and are in the same era as the Hornet and the Harrier - F-16I Sufa - Su-34 - Saab Jas 39 Gripen - Eurofighter Typhoon - Mig 29K - Dassault Rafale
-
I would love to get an early Lot F/A-18F Rhino as a flyable - will provide in my opinion a reasonable different experience compared to the Charly while staying in the same Era
-
To clean that up a little bit, here is a list who is working on what: ED is working on: - F/A-18C (with Belsimtek) - F-16C (with Belsimtek) - P-47D-30 - Yak-52 3rd Parties are working on: - Mi-24 (Belsimtek) - F-4E (Belsimtek) - F-14 A/B (Heatblur) - P-40F (VEAO) - F-4U (Leatherneck) - Aerobatic Plane (Leatherneck) - Mig-19P (Razbam) - A-29 Supertucano (Razbam) - Mirage III (Razbam) - BO-105 (unknown - Miltec-5 dropped out) - JF-17 (Deka Ironwork Simulations) Beside that there is work on unknown modules going on in the Backround. I would check Silverdragons very informative thread regarding planned, confirmed and rumored modules: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=116893 For example the OH-58D is still on polychops radar - platform is pending, heatblur is working on an unknown module and so on Cheers

I also own all WWII fighters, but my vote goes to the Spit. The FM is superb and it’s a very rewarding plane to fly when you fly her correctly. In my experience it forces you to fly the way it’s supposed. Ground handling is a personal tast i have to say, since i enjoy it the most in the Spit. I fly Cessna IRL and i have a very authentic feeling in the spit even without force feedback - basically what the 109 offers to streakeagle. In the end, everything is highly subjective. With the spit i have to suggest a joystick with an extension. Without it feels a bit to touchy on the elevator controls without adjusting the axis curve of your stick. Cheers an have fun with the props ;-)

DCS: Me 262 Discussion (Development on hold currently)
Pasquale1986 replied to NineLine's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
Exactly, the reticle of a P-47D-30 please! But the crossing Sopwith Camel would be distracting :D -
I would love to see some multi engine Birds: 1. Ju-88G-6 2. A-20G Havoc Especially the Ju-88G6 with it’s Radar and optional Schräge Musik in a multy crew environment would be really interesting and the P-47D obviously :D

Big thanks from my side, too! The communication is awesome and should be prototypical for the development of future modules. Imho it helps big time to give the community a feeling for the extend of detail and corrsponding work on coding as well as visuals and the neccessary development time. There were very few complaints about delays of the EA shifting from late 2017 to spring/summer 2018, that is - form my point of view - a huge communication success because Matt was transparent about the amount of work that went into e.g. the BIT and Caution-system of the Hornet and everybody was able to understand where they are and what difficulties they faced. For me it's just awesome to experience the process - it's not wating for something to happen - it's feeling like being part of the process and that's great. Cheers guys

Sounds reasonable - count me in
-
It was discussed in F/A-18C Section: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=191200&highlight=lso+cam&page=3
-
Exactly - that would be amazing but is doubtful ;-) To my knowledge the Mig-29 is still planned to receive the PFM-upgrade and should still be in the books for a separate module release as every other FC3 A/C
-
I hope todays Weekend Newsletter Banner is an indication for the work an the Mig-29 PFM-Upgrade :D

It would be lovely if we could get an update on the state of the Jug. Cheers

[RESOLVED]Spitfire broken in multiplayer
Pasquale1986 replied to Maffers's topic in Bugs and Problems
In Single Player i have no issues at the moment and fly her on a daily basis. Just after updating to 2.5 i had two crashes with generated and heavily modified quick missions in Caucasus that involved 30+ A/C which consited of 190's, 109's, Mustangs and Spit's and a whole lot of WWII ground assets, but i can't say anything about what caused this problem. I think I thought it was caused by user made skin. Since then i did not encountered any crashes in my daily flying with the Spit. -

F/A18E/F Super Hornets block 1 and BLock 2 E/F ( lot 26)
Pasquale1986 replied to Kev2go's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I can agree with most of your arguments and i did not want to compare a Rhino to a Viper - that would lead that thread completely OT. I just think the F/A-18F definetely belongs in DCS and it capabilities vary enough from the legacy Hornet to justify it's development. An F-Module would eventually open up for an E-Module. But it was just an idea ;-)
