  1. I haven't made it to 15, is it an airstart mission? Have you tried using the mission prep option to see if you can add the HMD?
  2. I get the failure sitting on the ramp, and I don't touch the probe hit switch at all. The probe heat switch should be left in the default position. There is no need to turn that on, the heater is powered on once the jet is off WOW.
  3. Load the 3a.miz, it will start you right behind the first tanker, and ready to proceed into the AOR.
  4. Yeah I am, I was tired and not thinking clearly.
  5. Sleepy and answering forum post don’t go together.
  6. There's an easier way to rename the duplicates of F16 MFD1 (or2) besides a regedit. There is no voice-over for my video, but the steps should be easy to follow. You will need the latest MFD driver to accomplish this, otherwise you will not see the option to change the ID.
  7. \Saved Games\DCS\Liveries If there is a "cockpit_A-10C" folder then there is a chance. However, I do not know if it shares images with the vanilla Warthog.
  8. There's two versions of the A-10C II cockpit, one pristine and one dirty. Selectable in the special tab.

  10. I know you have it solved. I wanted to also share that a recent patch closed (blocked) communications when calling a tanker that didn't match your airframe capability.
  11. A lot of us did, unsure if it changed or what.
  12. The Viper says hold my beer and watch this.
  13. You need to have A-10C Warthog and the A-10C II installed. They share code and the original is needed for the upgrade.
  14. There is no boresight mode, no bug.
  15. Imagine hearing it without any external noise e.g. engines, external generators, etc. Nice and loud.
  16. Thanks for sharing it from the 2W1 side. I learned after the LAU-88 argument that no matter what a SME says, it is best to stay out of the arguments with the quakers. The quakers who knows the jet better than those who have busted knuckles on her for 20+ years. The issue I saw was because someone somewhere busted ITAR and uploaded a -1 and -34 that says something to contrary to what the SMEs have said. What the quakers don't see is what is under the hood, and what is also in the books that go deeper than those leaked -1 and -34. There are more books that discuss the deep details and those will never be found on the net. They also won't see us talking about it either. I'll just play my version of DCS: Viper as I please :pilotfly: and let the frankenviper be developed for the quakers. With HARMs on 4/6 in our viper, 65s should be there as well. Also GBUs and JDAMs because the same invisible wiring that leads to the 88s being there, is supporting the 65s and GBUs.
  17. Go TACTICAL on AUX means go to channel 1 on COMM2, also know as the AUX radio. Your image shows you are on MARSHAL channel 4 on AUX.
  18. Here is how you can fix the progress manually after completing each mission: 1. Find your logbook (C:\Users\User_Name\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\MissionEditor) file. 2. Open it with text editor (I'd strongly suggest to use Notepad ++ (https://notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads/) 3. Make the backup of the Logbook 4. Scroll down to Raven One campaign entry. 5. Under ["fileList"] find the highest bracketed number - this is where you have to make your edit to progress 6. Change mission name under ["mission"] to "R1 M##.miz" (example: "R1 M08.miz") depending where do you want to progress to. You may want to also change the result of the previous mission to 100 (it will be something low, so it's better to fix your score). 7. Save and close - you should be good to go.
  19. Was answering the post directly above my post.

  21. It is a bug.
  22. Right HDPT on the SNSR PWR panel that is just right of the side stick, flip that on to power the chin mount for the TGP.
  23. I had it happen. I manually edited the logbook to play the mission 3a (behind the first tanker all the way through back to the boat). Pretty much saw "WOFDIC" the whole entire mission, so it happens early on with the 3a file. This was before the patch this week:
  24. By design, 1-5 is the flight plan, 6-8 is divert and tanker info. If needed one is to punch in the info into their HSI for use when late game tanker is requested or one needs to divert.
  25. Verify you entered as N and E not N and W. Spoiler warning:
