  1. My vote for fixing the lighting and removing overlays. Kneeboard place is on the knee, not overlay screen.
  2. No, 2.9.16.10973.1 is the current DCS version and was minor update mostly for the campaigns. Marianas WW2 map will come soon as separate module (optional free terrain) for download after one of the future DCS updates.
  3. Yes, all you'll get are images, hopefully with coords. You can do what you want with it. Perhaps a trigger in the mission can react to the right image taken but you can't expect module to generate a new mission for you.
  4. No, it is going to be another free aircraft.
  5. I was amazed to see very bright electrical lines, glinting in the sun IRL. Granted, it was not the case as in the OP. Also note they are exclusively 1 pixel thick in DCS and always black if not bugged otherwise. Not very realistic - the lines can either be very visible or almost invisible in some cases IRL.
  6. Why would no one ask for it before? Or did they?
  7. Afair RuAF jets don't feature any mechanism to prevent it. They rely on the pilot's sanity.
  8. Can I download it somewhere so I can build my own hatred for it?
  9. Thanks for the feedback and solution. This was actually supposed to be my next advice to try to redownload the modules but you nailed it
  10. Try with clean profile (rename your saved games/dcs folder temporarily). Try to reconnect Steam licenses in DCS site profile. Run DCS full repair and clean. Make sure no AV (including Windows Defender) messes with DCS files and same for any firewall messing with your connection. Try also another connection - different network or VPN.
  11. Have you contacted support already? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/
  12. That's probably modern PAD. https://www.twz.com/21081/the-usaf-has-quietly-added-large-multi-function-cockpit-displays-to-its-f-15c-fleet
  13. It's of little or no use for debugging. Save a track. Both aileron on ground and tyre damage are simulated in DCS. But lateral stick movement was only advised by IronMike for fast rolls on runway, not because of crosswind, but rather lateral stick also moves stabilators in a differential way which causes yaw forces, just like rudders, at speed.
  14. Isn't there 'select stations' in one of menu sections?
  15. This is correct. 13900 has 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/230497/intel-core-i913900kf-processor-36m-cache-up-to-5-80-ghz/specifications.html
  16. You can hear them in DCS but only for AI aircraft.
  17. Neither does the Tomcat unless you do crazy stuff no sane pilot would do IRL. Not one track was posted here but it's usually speeding with parking brake on.
  18. It's usually a few months.
  19. I thought waiting for Vulkan myth was already debunked as this was about MT instead.
  20. Until HB and their SMEs confirm your revelations it's your technique that's wrong.
  21. You're right: https://www.navysite.de/cvn/cv43deploy.htm but what difference does it make for the ship if it's exercise or deployment?
