Only thing I can agree with is the sharpness of the close edge - they should think about blurring it a bit - just like we can't focus on our nose. Everything else is just as IRL - get used to it. And while we're at the nose - we should see it too
-
For now it's a kneebox
-
That's new - can you share a track?
-
There already is a slider for clutter/grass - they just need to connect the dots. Still confused. Here's a snippet from FAQ: Q: What versions of the -A will be simulated? A: Similar as with the -B, each version of the -A spans a certain time period, but to discern them easier, we divide them into the 135GR late version (same time period as the -B), which has more or less feature parity with the -B, except for engines, engine instrument panels and some minor differences; the 135GR early version (late 70s to early/mid 90s), which also features an older version of the RWR (the ALR-45) and the ECM page on the HSD; and the bonus 95GR IRIAF version, which is similar to the 135GR early (late 70s/ early 80s), with the difference of having no TCS, no ICLS/ACLS, no datalink, no Lantirn pod, only older weapons (no aim-9m, no aim-7M(/H), no aim-7F, no aim54A mk.60 and aim54C) and only dumb air to ground munitions. Each version will include skins for their dedicated period/country. All -A versions feature the TF-30 Engines. You can check the log and the infantry is not found. Many simmers need it and always fly with pilot body when available. It's part of the simulation and immersion. I don't feel like flying empty RC drones - if you want to simulate that you'd have to disable 6DOF camera and comms. About patch: thanks, good progress on MiG, visors on 16/18 very appreciated and finally something for F-14
-
Unless they refer to their own models in game. They made 135 models A and B with 90s features. What they are adding soon is still 135 A but early (old RWR and such). You know the rest.
-
I'm just telling what you can get from Heatblur, that's all. And you're not getting 70/75, only 95, and even that as basically early 135 model/cockpit with cut out features and different chin.
-
Throughout its production run, the F-14A underwent numerous changes which were divided into blocks labelled in multiples of 5. You should be using it for 6 years now.
-
Never planned. Anything resembling that would be the 95 model with locked out features or different chin.
-
You meant F-14A-95-GR

make night sky more realistic, including milky way
draconus replied to nir's topic in DCS Core Wish List
It has nothing to do with Vulkan anyway. -
Thanks. Do you confirm the bug?
-
It is working - just not with front hemisphere. Thing is you don't enjoy it any way so you made a wish to change the module to some fictional state that would (probably) please you. That's ok, because it's a wishlist but people are telling you it's not feasible or realistic to wish for - mod forum is your only hope.

KMGU submunitions clarification and FAB-100 delay fuzes
draconus replied to LogsAvia's topic in Su-25 for DCS World
Both KMGU versions contain 96 mines and they are described by the name. No FAB-100 for the Su-25 but if you choose ex. FAB-250 you can click on the yellow triangle near the bomb icon on the pylon for fuze options. -
Warehouse > Tank 1 - rails are rendered depending on the view angle, while the other side is not visible, but after rotation these parts are visible, while the other not Structures > Chemical Tank A - rails are desynched with ladder about 90 degrees of object rotation Structures > Fuel tank - the dirt under the tank is semi-transparent for self model tanks.trk

Just found this report, but for Sinai map:
-
Hi, asking for a friend, because I don't have this map. Can you please check if the tanks objects render for you properly in this mission? The tanks are statics / warehouse / tank 2 and tank 3. Tank 1 works fine. I tested all tanks in Syria and Caucasus map and they work fine. Draconus.miz

Yes, definitely you should keep it slow - max conserve.

Single Players: What would win you over to a multiplayer server?
draconus replied to Dangerzone's topic in DCS 2.9
Wouldn't many become an IP at this point? -
Track is needed. Isn't there a reloading truck nearby?

Single Players: What would win you over to a multiplayer server?
draconus replied to Dangerzone's topic in DCS 2.9
IRL it's mostly about the young healthy body that have perfect vision and can stand long flights and high Gs, which is not an issue in the simulator. Otherwise skills and experience wins. -

You've found a griefer or a tool. Move on. Don't judge whole MP over this. -
Why not? It was flying with Phoenix from the start in the 70s. Sorry you feel that way but here's reality kicking you hard. Haven't you expect this to happen? Didn't you read the thread: A lot of things work differently. Rules of the game have changed. Either adapt and learn it or keep flying FC3 verison but you can't expect to have good results when flying the aircraft in missions that are simply not suitable for this airframe - trying to force it as SEAD or BVR machine vs Fox 3 is just tormenting yourself.
