  1. The monocle is far in front of the eye, easily over 7cm. So it is realistic to be visible by the left eye. What is wrong is that it shouldn't ever be in focus (blurred model needed). This however should work differently when HMD visible is deselected in the special options.
  2. To report a bug you'll have to be very specific. "Doesn't accelerate that fast" is not very scientific approach, just a meaningless feeling, not worth looking into. I somehow doubt you'll be given exact flight data even if your friend is a real pilot. You'll need exact data points vs time containg ex. the TAS, current G, altitude, vertical speed (if not level), ambient temperature, aircraft loadout and fuel weight. PS. You also have to be sure the real aircraft in question is not modded in any way from the original version, especially for the engines and be sure that their condition after tens of years of service still enable them to output nominal power. Mods can also change the aircraft gross weight which also makes manual charts data incorrect.
  3. But the models without light textures already are implemented and you see them during the day. That's why I said it doesn't matter if they are actual lights or baked textures - there are always two object versions: one for day and one for night.
  4. Yeah, this is normal in DCS and watching the stars from Earth's atmosphere can result in similar effect. Also some starts are unrealistically bigger (in pixel size) - this may be a feature to make the brighter stars stand out more but looks bad, esp. in VR.
  5. Make sure the aircraft has a parking spot suited for it. Might be the size limit. Best to be specific next time.
  6. This is your false assumption.
  7. Never had problem with that. Whole idea of VR and proper objects in a game is to have them correctly scaled, exactly to not feel any difference at least on that part. IPD change works only for close objects because that small parallax is not gonna change your view on the distant ones. The quality of the simulated terrain though leaves much for improvement and with limited headset resolution I think it has the biggest impact on how you perceive the world in DCS.
  8. So fire half the team or make them do other things in which they are not experts and refuse to work on new projects that brings money in the future. If only DCS users were the ED managers we would have bug free game, feature creep, all aircraft and units modeled... and "out of business sign" on the main site in months.
  9. I cannot reproduce. I barely get canopy reflections and I have them set to 1 (full). As said already, save a short track showing the issue and provide your dcs.log.
  10. We cannot know. Maybe you entered some AP mode. Jettison commands are Lctrl+W and Lalt+R afaik. Try to recreate in simple free flight mission and save track next time. You mean every mission now? Check your bindings - axis assignments.
  11. Unfortunately, afaik yes, no radio feature implemented. False marketing - that's why I've never bought it. It'd give a functional western radio for FC or redfor aircraft.
  12. You're right. I see it now when I checked again - zoomed out more and set strobes on. These and landing lights where atrocious. Navs still disappeared over 200m.
  13. Because it's unrealistic. Your wingman cannot know which one you locked without some additional describing commands. Afair it's free in limited version.
  14. I support. This was always first on the list.
  15. Yes. Take example from Su-25T manual - all units are metric and all cockpit references are for original russian version.
  16. My point is, better check yourself before spreading outdated info.
  17. Wing flex Manual +Liveries
  18. I hope they spent their development time on actual DC simulation not waste too much on some bling UI.
  19. Can't wait for fulcrumtraining.com
  20. Making fun of other people is more cringeworthy imo.
  21. AWACS fortunately are not omniscient. They also have radar range, RCS, terrain masking and notch limits, banked high wing blocking the picture in its direction, etc. so it's totally possible to be ambushed even with AWACS support. Otherwise report a bug with a track.
  22. For longer TWS shots you don't need Jester interaction at all. Just choose Phoenix, AA mode, Master Arm On and fly intercept high and fast. Jester will turn on TWS Auto mode. When in range, depending on the closure speed, fire the missile, crank to keep the lock (until Phoenix active) and reduce the closure, lose alt to stay below target. Of course bandits will defend and some of your shots will miss but 100% miss seems like something you do wrong or the targets were hit by your friendly flights already. Below 20nm, as already said, either ask Jester to lock the "target" ("enemy" is only for IFF confirmed bandits) or use PAL mode.
