  1. Anyone fixed this I cant play the game at all even after a reboot. Another reason to ditch the launcher
  2. Tried all you bug methods in VR, I had none of this issues at all except the searchlight one Sent from my CPH2333 using Tapatalk
  3. That setting won't make a difference to visible range at all, I run everything on max and pop in is still bad, ground clutter especially. It's been reported many times and ED have not changed anything to make it better. Sent from my CPH2333 using Tapatalk
  4. I think they did that for the Viper only, since then we haven't had anything similar for any other EA modules I can recall.

I like Afghanistan, it suits the modules I fly and in some parts down low and up high it looks great, but only in some parts, but after flying Sinai and Syria again I have to say im not a fan of the textures sets ED are using and much prefer the Saini look for textures and implementation. If ED are doing the same with Iraq I wont be buying it at all.

  7. Todays patch is coming in at 33 gigabytes for me for updating my dedicated server, seems rather large, game install was much smaller though
  8. Hey Cfag you might want to check the mission cannot be downloaded I get a 404 Not Found error when i click download
  9. Thanks for this it will be up on our server this weekend, have your other missions been fixed yet that broke a couple of updates ago.

  12. Once again a module that was not fully tested for EA features with VR, they have a very bad habit of releasing modules with bad VR views and really could do with some better VR beta testers looking for this stuff.

Playing around with it some more all the VR views are off RH Gunners view is way off the the LH side LH Gunners view is ok but could with being a little lower on the gun sight Ramp Gunners view looks back along the cockpit and is facing the wrong way Pilot and Copilots views are not in the middle of the stick and a little low. All these issues were similar to the Apache when it came out ED if you need a VR only beta tester Im happy to help out because its clearly not being checked even for EA
  14. Same here for me, its also the same issue the Apache had on release, also the ramp position in VR looks towards to the pilots instead of out the rear

Well looking at this with eyes open wide and factual, we know the only 2 3rd part devs with maps that cross into each others areas are Syria and Sinia, both have lived side by side for 1 year without issue. My questions would be to ED who own the game and publish these 2 maps for both 3rd parties and sell them to us and take a cut. How did you not know about this, was you informed that there was a request to remove the part of Sinai that was removed in this update. (it appears you did not know) Why were you not informed, I would have thought it would be in the best interests of all involved that this would have been discussed with ED first and that ED would be a part of the decision process or resolution process to sort this out. Why has the 3rd party map dev requested this part of another company's map be removed now 1 year later, what is the issue that they have with this area being in a map, I doubt very much that it does not impact on the sales of Syria and why has it taken 1 year for this to happen. ED how can you stop this happing again ??, what will you put in place to stop this happing

  17. This pretty poor form, I believe ED should step in on this as even though its a 3rd party dev ED own the game, and this will severely impact future sales and any future maps by the developer as most will stay away from them.
  18. DCS needs better ATC and landing procedures full stop, in big missions we use a real ATC guy in our group it adds so much

Id like all the bugs fixed that were introduced in the July massive patch, there were way to many bugs introduced to consider it a patch of acceptable standards as a good release compared to pervious patch releases, at least a quick patch should have come out to fix all the broken missions from the scripting errors introduced so we can at least play them again. Id like a better ground AI, I can already tell in my group that I have been flying with they are starting to get bored with DCS even in the Pretense and Foothold missions we run, you can just hear it in there voices now like its tiresome. Fix the Razbam issue, its been too long already Start showing us more of what you have in dev with some small work in progress vids, the coming soon or well let you know when we have more is starting to wear a little thin, the Dynamic campaign has been in the works now since 2019 and all we get in the latest update is some small screen shots that could easily have been drawn in the editor, surly they have more than that to show. Better ground AI, helicopter ops are pretty boring now, even with good scripted missions. More mission editor static units to place in missions, looking at all the new map releases there are heaps of objects in those maps that could be added to the units the editor could use, only the SA map added new static objects we could use. The Chinook is my last module I'm buying now, purchased the last 3 big release I'm done paying for modules until the core gets more updates to make it a combat simulator that's interesting again and not a module simulator.

I actually would prefer My Goodnights work is not included on the finished template, while his bases are great and I appreciate the work put into them I don't like to use them for the simple reason he does not hide the static objects so you can see them on the F10 map, the OP hides all his work when he is finished which means it doesn't clutter up the F10 map.

This may have been the biggest patch in a long time but the amount of bugs and issues it introduced have seen usage on our servers drop to the lowest I have seen since I started with our group 7 years ago, mid week now we hardly see any one flying (used to at least be 10 consistently). I think personally its due to the helo scripting issues that have came with this patch, as most of our missions are helo dependent on capturing stuff these bugs have caused all our big main missions to be broken and our pilots are off playing other games.
  24. Well it didn't fix the Airboss station issue that you cant use the mouse in VR to control the monitors of ship...still very much broken I really cant believe they test there patches in VR at all
