  7. same here however as Razor told the P-51 starts without problems on taxiways or roads, unlikely the F-15 which crashes the game :(

  13. i am expecting the Normandy release on the next friday afternoon (GMT) what means 7.5 days (180 hours :bounce: ) waiting more. but i REALLY hope they will release the "base" 2.1 NTTR update TODAY preventing "overcharge" servers of ED on the next friday :D
  14. thanks, so i have a question to You or to AlphaOneSix what color of formation lights use the AH-64 and the AH-1W IRL ? the regular aviation/cyan blue ? how wide is the projection angle of the spotlight of the Apache (and of the Cobra) and its azimuth/elevation rotation limits ? Thank You

  17. ok, great. thanks in advance :thumbup: looks like that's an italian adf variant (see the wide tail root section) btw adf variant: i forgot to ask some questions about the lights: those ADFs have landing/taxi lights on the main-gear-oleo-struts (same as most of the adversary variants in Nellis and in Fallon), do you know how wide is the pojection angle of those spotlights ? do they use the same luminaire on both side ? (left-landing, right-taxi) only the light directions differ ? do you know the adjusted direction angles of those luminaires (azimuth, elevation) and on the newer variants the taxi/landing lights ? (on the nose-wheel-bay-door) same luminaries as on top and bottom? (both have 2 lens with 2 bulbs, upper 2 for landing, lower 2 for taxi) luminaries totally fixed to the door ? and when they want to adjust the light direction (maintenance) are they adjusting the two lens inside the fixed luminaire ? and the same question as above: do you know the adjusted light direction angles of those luminaires (azimuth and elevation for taxi and landing lights) on these newer variants ? big thanks

  20. thanks i know those images, so you dont know about a sideview too ? and a component view ?   21. guys, please post/link a sideview image of the airduct geometry of the F-16. it could be a cutaway or exploded view and would be good a GE and a PW engine version images. (i guess the airduct is the same for both engines (mid+rear section), only the intake-mouth and the forward airduct section is differ, right?) one more: i would like to see how/where the engine placed in the fuselage as well (longitudinal axis, hub planes of compressor and turbine blades and where is the "front of" the engine (of course above the main gear bays but behind them?) p.s. i missing these infos but i need them for making an accurate 3d model of the f-16 thanks
  22. seems the reflection values of materials of the A-10 are too high (def and glass materials) but it could be the specular map value of the material as well or the blue channel of the spec. map texture too. but iirc the blue channels of the spec. map of A-10 are black so it won't be the problem i think that will be the first 2 problems and not the builtin shaders (same with the windows of UAZ, Ural, GAZ etc. car/truck models) btw: interesting coz here it looks good: no reflection anomaly on the fuselage and canopy-glass thanks :thumbup: and what about the steam loco model and its wagons ? edm models ? btw: can you see the models in the mission editor/payload view, loadout editor/ammo view as well ? (not in the encyclopedia)
  23. to the guys who have access to the Normandy map alpha: did you get some 3D objects of the asset pack already ? (i mean not only the new B-17 model but any other WWII vehicle, soldier, ship or fortification model) are those models installed into the mods folder ? and what kind of extension use those model files ? edm or ref files ? can you see those models in the "model viewer window" of the mission editor a well ? thanks
