  1. Not through the avionics. Maybe there’s a mod out there that does it
  2. Oh, you will :music_whistling:
  3. The fly by wire can not be disabled, the jet is very much dependent on it.
  4. Can you verify using the IFEI that you're in afterburner by looking at the fuel flow? General rule of thumb I use is, if it's over 100, you're probably in burner.
  5. Why do you want to fix the flaps up? The computer is better at controlling the flaps than the pilot is.
  6. The old and new one will be in the game in parallel just like the super carrier, and it’s up to the mission maker to put one or both into a mission. Su-33 should interact with old one only unless you own super carrier module.
  7. To your first question, it could be a few things. You might check the special options to see if Afterburner detents are enabled or not. You also may be taking off in full flaps and/or not switching to auto flaps upon takeoff. You may also be pitching up manually after the cat shot and nearly stalling the aircraft. It should be trimmed for hands off on-speed and the jet will pitch up properly as soon as it leaves the catapult, no pitch input needed.
  8. You can also change range by moving the cursor over the top of the radar screen to the edge of the screen and then back again
  9. It’s a button on the ddI radar page.
  10. Not at this time. Someone more knowledgeable may have more info, but it's possible some of the functions will someday be clickable with the TDC like the scan bars and some other options. Reset should unlock everything.
  11. Burble is listed as a planned feature. Pitching deck is already represented on the Stennis so I have no doubt it will be available for the super carrier.
  12. It is only mounted on the AV-8B+ which does have a radar. Not the Night Attack.
  13. Entirely cosmetic
  14. I've seen this bug plenty since ECM programming was implemented. Definitely confirmed, although it's an easy work around.

    Harpoon

Sorry to hijack a little but does R/BOL mode work yet? I've seen reports that it does, but I'm having trouble, so maybe I'm doing something wrong. I designate a target using the TPOD (TDC depress), select R/BOL mode, and pickle. The Harpoon then heads off in the wrong direction - like 20 - 30 degrees off to the side. And of course, it misses the target. Except one or two times when I was fairly close to my target, and I used R/BOL and pickled, and it seemed to track and head toward the target but then crashed into the sea a little ahead.
  16. Jester has no way to track laser spots right now. Hopefully in the future he'll be able to do it using LANTIRN. You'll need to know where the target is so you can drop on it using CCIP. You can get the target location via coordinates from JTAC (and creating an F10 map marker and loading it as a Waypoint via Jester), or by smoke or some other mark like that.
  17. Nineline confirmed this on Discord.
  18. Not a bug. Left page is pretty much for Stores page most of the time.

    F18 or F16

I really enjoy the F-16 in other sims but the one we have in DCS right now in January 2020 is rather frustrating if I'm being honest. It's really unfinished and will lead to negative training. Grab the Hornet.
  20. It’s out for open beta, not sure if it’s on stable yet.
  21. Personally, I doubt they will. At least for early access. It will be a big task to get comms and animations for all fast jets, in case I and case III, that helicopters must be an afterthought right now.
  22. I don't know that this system is implemented yet. I haven't heard anything about it. But doesn't WYPT increment create a target point at that location using WYPT 0, which can be cycled to like any WYPT? If that works, then there is the ability to make at least one saved target point.
  23. Can I ask how you would completely undesignate all L&S in LTWS? Is it only reset that does it? I'm sure that before TWS was added, undesignate used to just undesignate the target totally and return to search, and I don't recall an announcement about this change in behavior. But if it's accurate, then great.
  24. Definitely the same for me, the NAVFLIR in the HUD is unusable, it's far too dark. The TPOD and Mavericks are usable though. It used to be better before DCS 2.5. @Wakeshift, I use flat screen, SP, something like 2.2 gamma
  25. IF TDC Center is a "made up game function" to center the TDC cursor on the radar display, but in the real jet this function does not exist, then WHAT does the push in function of the TDC stick actually do in the real jet instead? If it toggles STT and TWS, then what does CS8 do in the real jet, because it's redundant?
