  3. Scuttlebut on reddit is saying the radar dev activated the time limit on the part he was responsible for, ED were aware of the hows, and why's and with a fix. However legally it's not so simple, the dev said it was more directed at Razbams non payments to him, than ED's payments to Razbam.. "Oh what a tangled web we weave "

  5. Thanks to @Admiral189 for the donation of the correct radar, the Type 42 is looking better. Beldin has done an excelent job of editing the luas. Bear in mind this model was never UV mapped, the textures are hit and miss, that being said, I like them ! Just a few minor cosmetic things to fix, and should be good for a release next month.

  7. Max ! I've watched skatez video's I've sussed out the Nav and strobes, but the landing/taxi lights... not so good.
  8. Is there an idiots guide to setting up spot/landing lights anywhere? I too have the hideous purple light, tried the connectors, and the args, edited out the line's etc but still shows

  10. This screen was before I checked as to which shops were batch 3's Batch 1.. only if I can find a decent model, then yeah, there's not much difference weapons wise (sans Phoenix CIWS) @Northstar98 yeah radars are noted, It's what was on the model.

  12. As some of you mentioned the lack of Royal Navy vessels with DCS world, and I posted a picture of a Type 42 batch 3 destroyer within the Admirals thread. I wasn't planning on releasing, but decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a go. The Type 42 Btch 3 ( extended hull) will come with : Sea- Dart surface to air missile sysytem 2 x Phalanx CIWS 2 x 20mm Oerlikon 1 x Mk8 4.5 " Deck gun 4 vessels of the batch 3's will be available HMS Edinburgh HMS Manchester HMS York HMS Gloucester There's She can support Helo's up to the size of Merlins. There's a basic damage model, so she can take damage and can sink. Beldin has been working on the lua, as there was an issue with the missiles not launching, and the scale of the seperate sea dart on the launcher wrong. Textures are not the best, they were fine for me for what I was using her for ( eye candy) The attached screens may have different Ships numbers so disregard. I will look to release once ED fix the coding for the missiles

  14. You hope for a lot of things, none of which will be to your liking ! A) They're aware of the issue, it's been hashed to death in the Razbam status thread B) It will take as long as it takes, if they can fix, they will, if they can't, then you're going to have to wait until the dispute between RB and ED reaches a conclusion, which will be a LOT longer than 2 weeks.

  18. What about the take off? Does the Tail lift off the deck, and the aircraft sit horizontally and sometimes get stuck in the launch position? Hawkeye, Eddie and myself had this on carrier borne aircraft on ships/aircraft we'd been working on.
  19. All the pictures sadly ain't going to mean much if there's no 3d models available, Currenthill requires the models before he can work the magic, if you have links to any of the picture related models, then help the man purchase them.
  20. ED wouldn't be ED if their update didn't break something !! All joking aside, this issue with missiles makes using a lot of CH and Admiral's totally unplayable, I had one the the flight III's own missiles damage itself so bad, it sank !
  21. Yeah, the update really nerfed the missiles, it seems to be only certain types, the Arleigh Burke SM2R's just spiral into the air, and detonate, but the SM6's will launchh and intercept
  22. Type 42'...there's 3 different batches, the model I have is a Batch 3 which is considerably longer than the Falklands war Batch's .. It still needs a bit of work, no promises, but will see if I can get one out for release in this quarter.
  23. If you had randon generated AI's like the traffic, you are more than likely to take an FPS hit
  24. Has the rotation of the rotors been fixed ? Last version I was using had the trailing edge of the blade as the leading edge, if that makes sense ?
