LOL... Razbam's reputation in the sime market is fine.... LOL They abanoned their products in FSX/P3D Apart from BMS, what other player(s) are you talking about? ( No Razbam products there as it's free) Which other sim out there has Razbam products available to purchase that are current to 2024 standards? You seem to think you know what will happen, when in reality you are guessing..

Just grabbed the latest Russian pack, love it, the Havoc is a great addition, though the sounds don't seem right ? Should the sounder not point to the default Mi28 already in the game? Convoys and PSC's were hit pretty much all over Baghdad, Route Huskies, Senator, and Tampa, several were put out of bounds to Miilitary traffic

There's so many POI's missing that are significant landmarks in Baghdad.. the more I fly around Baghdad, the more I realise that those who created the map didn't really have sufficient knowledge of the area..and the more disappointed I become. I spent 18 years as a Private Security Contractor, from 2004 until 2022... the last 6 years in Baghdad itself.. No Saddam's palaces anywhere... No half built Grand Mosque in Mansour No Twin Mosques coming out of the IZ onto route Irish No Babylon or Rashid Hotels No Ibn Sina Hospital No Gate archway at Khadimiya No Assasins Gate archway exiting the IZ onto Haifa Street There's another archway on the straight road before Ibn Sina Hospital. No Ministry of Oil No Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) The road from Baghdad to BIAP is way too overpopulated by Palm trees, it wasn't like that at all..even when I left there in 2022, it wasn't remotely as dense as the map, and from 2004-2010 the BIAP road/Route Irish was devoid of trees altogether.

Breaking up with ED? I don't believe it was that simple, as far as Im aware, the developers were not meeting certain standards laid down by ED, and underperformaing, and when you don't meet your contracted employers standards in ANY industry, you're released from contract, or fired, so why should ED be any different? Razbam are nothing like VEAO, the circumstances are vastly different, not one person here knows what the outcome could be, it's nothing but speculation, we all know what the outcome should be. Yes, for sure there's a potential for having all RB products cease to work over a period of time, this is common in software, but it's not going to happen overnight. The glass half empty guys are full of doom and gloom, the glass half full guys are more optimistic, I'd much rather be the glass half full, and be optimistic... and at the end of the day, this may sound bad, but I'd much rather lose support of my RB products over time, than lose the entire platform, with dozens more modules.. I don't believe in cutting off ones nose to spite their face works, because you tend to miss out on a lot of fun that others are enjoying... and I'd much rather have fun, life's too short.. Why do people keep bringing up the VEAO hawk issue, and comparing it to this current one? it's comparing apples to oranges, very different circumstances, and only 1 presently met its demise.

I've not forgotten about this, just been a tad occupied with real life and a recent vacation back to Thailand, I have it uploaded to Megasync, there's not much more that I will do to be honest, the original script for the Sea darts had them detonating 5km away from the target, but if I use script for the SM'2..she's deadly!

That's in contrast to what another RB dev stated though, when he claimed ED were allegedly supposed to be payong RB at the end of November, but they didn't, so there has to have been dialogue involved for that alleged specific date to be mentioned.

Grab a torch (for that darkness) , hop into the F15E set some amazing fog/dust distances and thrash yourself all over the Syria map..at low level

"Discretion is the better part of valor" Both parties have intimated right from the begining that they want to see the F15E continue and progress, so her comments were nothing out of the ordinary, again people read what they wanted to read, and put 2+2 together and come up with "it's over for RB/ED"

You're literally taking Kates wording out of context, and I don't recall any of ED's team doing any shyt talking publically... can't say the same thing from RB side, which also hasn't gone unoticed.

That's the problem with public perception, one see's what they want to see, and the expectation is high. Right from the get go, the public perception was that after the Hawk debacle ED had stated this situation would never arise again, and that future contracts would invlove being able to have access to the source code, and in this case it wasn't any different, except the measure put in place were AFTER the contract to develop the F15E with Razbam, so it didn't apply, it is everyones wishful thinking that ED, if the situation cannot be resolved between RB and ED, then ED would somehow continue to develop the F15E. The customers are not left in the dark, it's been stated umpteen times that anything official would be through this channel, and not passing comments, despite Kates position within the company. There's still a long way to go, don't expect anything to be resolved until the 2nd quarter of 2025...

Why would they not expect to be paid? They keep claiming they've done nothing wrong, and if they had such a strong case against ED, then such a bridging loan would have been a simple process. This is why we're not getting the full story as it really isn't as clear cut as what some people seem to believe it is. ED, despite consumer backlash have taken the legal route, which will ensure this drags on longer, we, as consumers see things in black and white, whereas there's quite a few different shades of grey areas in this debacle. If only it was a case of company A owes company B remuneration for services rendered, and company B has taken legal action to receive those funds, IF it was clear cut, then no court would ever side with company A for witholding payment for "no apparent reason" It's a mess...

It doesn't matter what they believe, it matters what the contractual obligations there was between them, and RB, and between RB and ED. Their contracted employer was RB, so their pay dispute should have been directed towards RB, funny how there's been zero "leaked communications" between them and RB, but they've leaked heaps between other parties. Not one has shared what "royalties" they were suposed to have received from RB had ED not witheld the payment towards RB. Don't get me wrong, I feel for them, but their constant leaking and choppsing off on various platforms where they're only too happy to share selective excerpts of confidential material(s) but have kept their own information confidential.. and decry transparency... which seems to be a one way street in this situation.

So they have never received a monthly income from Razbam? I have a hard time believing that they are remunerated in the manner in which you've said. If that's the case, then their beef should have been with Razbam, and not with ED, they should have sought legal recourse against RB for the failure to uphold their terms and conditions. I've said this from day 1, Razbam devs recourse should have been with their contractor, of whom should have had a system in place that prevented his contracted staff to go unpaid, why couldn't he (RZ) not have gone to his financial team and said "we need to get a bridging loan, and pay these guys until this situation is over, and everything goes back to normal" Puting all your eggs in one basket springs to mind. Totally get their (devs) frustration, not being paid as per their "contracts" (which nobody has seen, and despite them airing all the other leaked content, not one has shared their terms and conditions they had with Razbam)

90% of the 3rd party developers have delivered, including Razbam, and I don't understand this concept of using the word "promise" nowhere in anyones terms and conditions or EULA uses the word "promise" it's a word used by consumers to feel they're entitled. ED roadmap for 2024 and their 1st newsletter for 2024 doesn't promise anything, it states that the year looks promising, nowhere have they ever said " we promise that you will have X, Y or Z" Love or hate them, ED have delivered according to their January newsletter. Every 3rd party developer has similar roadmaps, buy not buying their products you're not hurting ED, you're hurting the developer, if sales are down, and overheads are up, then cost cutting starts to take place, and manpower is one of the first areas to be reduced... you reduce the manpower, then the roadmap time frame gets longer. Then the consumer bitches and moans about products not nearing completion. If you're wanting to sing HB's praises, then where's the A6E? Showcased 2 years ago, their carrier still doesn't have rotating props, has issues with one of it's cats being underpowered..the last 2 are simple lua edits and 3d model edits that would take 30 mins tops to fix... The people that want to see ED crash and burn fail to see that there's nothing out there that comes remotely close to what DCS world offers.. prove me wrong.
