Hey Mark the beaviour you discribe is actually correct. As soon as the Wings were forward there would be seals on the real thing. In order to sort everything out while sweeping back, the emergency sweep lever will stop at 68 deg and the Hz tail auth lights will come on. You have to wait till the virtual seals are deflated and the lights go out, then you would be able to get the wings in oversweep (all the way back). I don't see any benifit to bind the emergency wingsweep to the HOTAS. You touch the lever twice / thrith during a flight (1. Checks , 2. Wingsweep full forward during launch / takeoff and 3. store them after recovery / landing) other than that, just leave them in Auto. Rarely I touch Bomb or the Aft Fwd switches (configuring for AAR, Carrier Break or, god forbit, bomb throwing)

Darn, that was easy , thank you. I just bound the hold to my ghetto cat left panel SAS Roll, so necksaver turns on in the dogfight and remains off in normal flight regimes....love it, thank you

I started to use the XRNS Version and everything works fine. There are just two things that bug me a) I'm unable to bind ENTER as reset (it is my center VR button in DCS) b) did not find a way to turn XRNS on and off in flight. There are flight regimes (e.g. carrier ops with a bunch of planes in the pattern) where I don't deem the functionality helpful but rather bothering. Especially b) would be a biggie for me. Any ways to achieve this?

Currently not really well (last time I tried it went to long) , still wip after the last autopilot changes.

f* damn hot -
I finally started the campaign again, and you might expect it, have something to nag about For the important Mission tasks, AWACS takes reference to Bullseye. I found it for me from importance to enter the Bulls into the Nav System for reference. If I'm honest, I did not find it in the F10 map, but it must be there because Jester was able to input it from there. I would suggest putting bulls into the Nav System - like Fixed point e.g. and put it on the campaign map. This was a pretty long mission. Maybe either cut it down half an hour for a cycle or inject some stuff (like a little chatter). Otherwise, it might get pretty boring for some people. The high crosswind for the case 3 (like 9 knots) was already mentioned elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, I liked the mission. Some interesting tasks going on, but if the average player wants to put in 2h with the "boring part" of running cap

You should maybe do raised "engravings" and change filament after the final panel layer. That would look like this

Some personal opinion on f14's flight model during refueling
Lt_Jaeger replied to Ddg1500's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
You better get a decent computer first, so you can start to fly online, THEN you get that 6DOF and invite me over to test it, before I starve my wife and kids to get me one -
Not that I noticed.

Only Openkneeboard works with OpenXR For steam, OKB has the better performance but VRK the better interface. VRK seems to be abandonware while OKB gets still love from its developer.

Some personal opinion on f14's flight model during refueling
Lt_Jaeger replied to Ddg1500's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Nothing wrong with the flight model for me (would not know though, just an armchair pilot) but more a shortcoming of the input devices and maybe techniques. I have the bird trimmed to be able to fly an almost hands off refueling, which for sure is a perishable skill but once mastered kinda easy. Ok, I got a superb vkb base with a 20cm extension, so I'm able to do fine corrections with 2 fingers. Got a slight curve set, but that is for personal preference, aar is easy doable without. So, even if it sounds arrogant, keep on trying, maybe improve your controller, but no need to dump down the FM. -
You are right, I use FreeJoy as well on my flightsim build and must say, I'm pretty impressed. It's easy to tackle, even for a noob like me. Thank you @WG_Magners for the efforts you put into it.

F4, F4, F4 and then some more F4, followed by the A6.

At night you have to turn on exterior lights to signal the "salute", which makes sense and adheres to real life procedures. -
Make sure you do a "deep" de-install. That stuff seems deeply rooted into the system, but I would not know, since I don't have that stuff.

Hey Mark, if you check the input output loop with not being connected to the server, do you see the "meter" moving and hear yourself? We had it with one of the guys and the reason was he had the sonic suite installed, which suppresses SRS. Worth a check. If so, de install it and you should be golden.

Any suggestions for an adequate Throttle? F16 or F18?

I did edit the Lua for the uh-60, will check if it is locked. What's the recommended way ahead? I would start with see if I have her locked. Is deleting her an option? (with backup of course) -

Looking forward to autumn to finish the campaign. Currently it's too hot for me to fly 1,5 h in VR. Good thing is, I might experience all these changes. Thank you -

Damn, and I still solely fly that module and enjoy it. That has to end and I guess I show myself to the door for being such a ignorant. -
