In 2.5.5 the A-10C, KA-50 and FC3 still use the Starforce copy protection. That's why serials are needed for those modules. If RyukoSoan's friend bought one of those modules, ED should provide the serials.

Look harder! :smartass: At the following ED modules and the included campaigns: FC3, KA-50, A-10C, Huey, Mi-8, P-51, Fw-190, Bf-109. After ED started to sell 3rd party campaigns as DLCs, ED didn't provide any campaigns for their newly released modules anymore. Some third party modules also contain campaigns. Like the fantastic M-2000 campaign, Viggen Red flag, Mig-19 even the Gazelle has one.

This bug was reported shortly after release. Don't think it will get fixed this year. Just keep this in mind when the next Razbam module shows up in the shop.

Falls du open beta verwendest, hat sich Starforce (und damit das Deaktivieren/Aktivieren der Module) komplett erledigt. Sonst musst du vorher halt die einzigen Module die noch Starforce verwenden (meines Wissens nach die A-10C, KA-50 und FC3) deaktivieren und am neuen PC wieder aktivieren.

Good explanation why things are as they are and that ED is working on the shortcomings. My point is: if you just love to fly the warbirds (as I do) absolutely go ahead, if you want to "experience" ww2 air combat take the shortcomings into account. :pilotfly:

B-17 is AI only. Consider this: ATM WW2 combat is lacking profoundly due to mimatched planes, rudimentary dm, ai that has a very simplified flight model with unlimited energy, post ww2 atc and radio comms. But: The planes you can buy are fantastic to learn and fly. And I have high hopes DCS WW2 will eventually get there.
