  1. As far as I know: for the team to do anything, you'll need to provide a track. :smartass: And thanks for integrating the new units to your campaigns!
  2. Just google a little and you'll find a ton of info on that scamming scheme.
  3. Hacked account offering electronics at too good to be true prices. Scam!
  5. What I don't understand is why sniper/laser like gunnery still exist in 2020?
  6. I can't imagine the devs don't know about the AI pathfinding eating up all the cpu cycles. They just haven't found a way to fix it yet.
  7. Never had a problem with fps in free flight with 2.5.6. Try a mission with ai units for a change. :music_whistling:
  8. In all low fps situations with the current open beta my gpu is idling ~30% usage. Definately the slowdown is cpu related.
  9. For me 2.5.6 has me flying only in daytime. I skip every night mission.
  10. I switched from the Thrustmaster TPR's to the VKBs, because they are much better to operate under a desk with a swivel chair and love them. I configured the pedals to send button presses at the very end of each direction and use that as differential toe brakes. The lever on the flightstick (I fly Warthog and MCG Pro) acts as wheel brakes. I needed half an hour of retraining to takeoff and land the Bf-109 in DCS. The jets were very easy to adapt to.
  11. In short: you can, but you shouldn't. That saves you lots of frustration. Maybe ED will release the AI planes along with the P-47, maybe not.
  12. To conclude the plot started in book 1 you should get 'Brick by brick', too. Btw, I'm reading book 8 'Fini Flight' right now.
  13. Surely not.
  14. I would prefer a lower number of bombers (so 36 in total) but all shooting at the attackers when they are in range.
  15. Just a quick heads up regarding performance in 2.5.6 as of today: M2 grinds to single digit fps when the B-17s start shooting at the attacking Messerschmitts. Reducing the unit number is not helping too much - better, but still unplayable.
  16. Die Schalter sind auf einer Platine aufgelötet und mit Heißluft verklebt. Wird eher nicht leicht werden, die zu versetzen.
  17. I like the site. Looking forward to the Raven campaign.
  18. You can configure the lever to act as an axis and send a button press at the same time. Very useful if you want the lever as a brake in the Spit and autopilot/NWS for the F-18.
  19. Some ideas: Maybe because it was easier to fly and operate than a Bf-109K? Or they were more readily available. Or the pilots were already trained on it. Or it performed better in real than it does in DCS. :smartass:
  20. My recommendation: the Dora (don't have Anton and I-16).
  21. It's gone at least while the sale lasts. I think it will come back afterwards. Buying the map and the assett pack in the sale is slightly less than the bundle was.
  22. So that a few users reporting better fps has nothing to do with performance fixes in the new patch?
  23. Do yourself a favor and play the fantastic free "A-10C Sturmovik" campaign that comes with the module. A great combat campaign for a beginner.
  24. The provided campaign makes extensive use of NDB navigation. So this becomes an (for me super annoying) issue pretty soon in the very first mission.
  25. Did you try this mission "Combat Mission - Hornet 1989 - Close Air Support" on the latest 2.5.6?
