  1. Awesome. Thx guys.
  2. Hi, welcome I must say that, DCS required way more controls then MSFS. So a (proper) HOTAS is unfortunately a must. There is plenty written about all what there is available, check here. I started with Thrustmaster T16000M + TWCS throttle. I still have this same throttle among VKB`s Gunfighter mk3 joystick. About your issue, check the Options/Controls section, and click on Axis Assign button down bellow. Look for your Roll and Pitch, right mouse click on each and select Tune Combo Axis (you also have a button down bellow). In there you can check how each axis responds/works, and you can adjust accordingly if needed. I hope it helps a bit.
  3. You should get a better hardware, that's not good enough
  4. I was also wondering where those stutters come from. I thought that it might be connected with an aircraft (F-16, didn't try F/A-18), since there is no stutters with Mirage or Mig-21, which I also tried.
  5. Turn ON the electronic signals, switch on your left - RF (Radio Frequency) Switch, by putting it up to Norm position, for radar to start working. About radar antenna, did you assign the controls for Antenna Elevation knobs, up and down? But before all that, turn on Fire Control Radar on the right console:
  6. You mean purchasing Sinai? I think it is surely worth it, every penny. One of the best made maps for DCS. And will only get better, based on all what report here.
  7. Read my post from an hour ago. Yes, it seems it does help. I have no more stutters as before, there are still some small stutters, depending from which angle I look down on the city and for how long as well. But its at least flyable now.
  8. I hope you do use MT. Have you tested CPU with MSI Afterburner all? You can put all the cores on the screen, and you can see how much is each occupied. This way you will see if the CPU is bottleneck or not. Same goes for all the other components in PC.
  9. Seems that with changing some of the Graphics parameters in the DCS and Low Latency to Ultra (Nvidia Control panel) did the trick for my configuration i7 1700K, 64GB, and EVGA 3080 Ti. Optimization is now way better, I cannot see all the building in the distance any more (like I did before), and this, it seems, it does the trick. These settings are for Quest Pro headset.
  10. Exactly. Both are exaggerated in their own way too much.
  11. Btw, @VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants why do you have shadows on "Flat Only"? Isn't very ugly not having "real" shadows? The cockpit shadowing is pretty ugly.
  12. Thx, set the Low Latency to Ultra. Will test it. But also of course, 4090 does the difference. I am waiting for new my MSI Suprim to come in few days Thx for
  13. Can you ED please fix these lights, they are there just for make the plane look good, nothing more. Here you can see the difference between F-16 an F/A-18. Just been on some new server, and notice this, I said to my self, "What's there on the other side, that's shines so brightly? Can't be another F-16 ". Please merge with this thread here.
  14. What hardware do you have? Regarding replay: looks good indeed, even your settings are petty mid-low though. What's the resolution and frequency that you have set for VR?
  15. Pic says all:
  16. In the multiplayer lobby the name for this map is "SinaiMap", should be only "Sinai". Please fix it.
  17. I still didn't try it on monitor, but in VR it's really not that good, specially when flying low over the big cities. Way worse then on any other map. It's true, I'm still in the process of optimizing my new Quest Pro, but as said, on other maps, game runs very decent, here on Sinai I have stutters over cities. What are your observations so far?
  18. No, can only change with a distance. What does the difference are Normal Map images, which increase the percrption of horizontal and vertical poligons.
  19. No, just this. So you have any clue what's causing those artifacts? I noticed them yesterday.
  20. Also another issue, some artifacts started to appear at the bottom of the lenses. Is that white line, and bellow it is all more white (that whiteness takes about up to 40% of the whole width of the lenses at the bottom. Anyone see anything like it before? This is how it looks like (picture taken in msfs): null
  21. Do you have any mission in particular in mind? I am on the same page as @markturner1960 bought Pro few days ago, and trying to optimize things as well, and I have EVGA 3080 Ti.
  22. An issue to resolve: when dogfighting, flying in one circle fight, and when having the other aircraft on the edge of my visible sight, aircraft is not a clean one, but it's ghosting. Didn't have that issue with Reverb G2 before. Maybe it is just some setting. Anyone noticed that, and maybe even fix it?
  23. To continue where QuiGon lesft, if you want to release on 1st cue, you have to change the Release Angle to zero degree. You can change that when you are on SMS page, press CNTL (top left corner), and in the bottom right you have Rel Ang, change it to 0.
  24. I use my own headphones (hyperX II) over vr headset, its tight, but it can be done that's comfortable.
  25. I have approximately the same settings. Do you also have set the Display Resolution (per eye) in OpenXR Toolink: I have it set to 2200 x 2300 (or sometihng). But I have this still from my previos Reverb G2 headset.
