AI is not human. Go to some PvP multiplayer server, you will get a complete different opinion I don't use ECM at all, and I do just fine on PvP servers. It might only be good when fighting Phoenix missile, but even that it is pretty easty to notch (if you know you are fighting an F-14 of course). The thing is, ECM in DCS is/are prety simplicitic (there is only noise jamming), and quite far from a real world. In modern warfare the ECM works on deception jamming.

When coming on Markpoint page on DED (pressing keypad number 7), TGP sensor option is not shown as an option when TGP is Slaved to waypoint (the biggest cross on TGP). TGP being SOI or No SOI it does not matter: If it is to Area track or Point track, TGP option is there on ICP. And if you cycle with a dobber switch Right, TGP disappears. You have to press number 7 again to TGP appear. Is this is how it should be? All other sensor options like HUD, FCR and OFLY are always there. It kind of makes no sence, why TGP option woundn't be there at all times, pilot has to TMP Up to create a Markpoint anyway, right? Example track attached. f16_tgp_sensor_option.trk

You are correct, I have to contact ATC and then they turn on the lighting on the runway. Thx, didn't know that. So there is no issue with that. I have been puzzled, since on other maps like Gulf, Syria and now Sinai, runways are constantly enlightened, not sure if all, but on those that I usually fly at night.

This is not it, I don't say it might be, but there is some sort of bug, sometimes light are turned on, and sometimes are not. Check for example my video @6:37, when I was already on the runway, some lights were turned on from behind and the small navigational white ones alongside the runway. There is something wrong for sure, I will double check all today ones again whats really going on, and also tried your suggestion about contacting ATC prior landing.

I would dare to say, upgrade even from gen10 (I have 10700K) is not worth it. Specially considering the amount of money spent on new hardware. Maybe really in a year with 15th generation.

Noticed yesterday, when I was recording a video for ILS with F-16, there are no light at all on Caucasius airports, example for Kutaisi: Sometimes they turn on from no where, and they sometimes they also disappear again. Really strange bug.

Why not make it like it works on monitor? Are there any limitations?

It's not just friends, its everybody. It's really annoying when designating some enemy aircraft, which you have to pay special attention (ie, flying very high above), while dealing with others.

I have exactly the same experience on GS server. Have to try offline, and on some other server. And will also provide a track. PDLT drifts aways also when starting an F-16 cold (on GS server). So hot/cold there is no difference - that's for now. Will report more later on today.

Exactly the same goes for the the PDLT symbology (octagon).

Never noticed that, well spotted. It sure should, since AN/ALR-56M module doesn't have any internal memory to memorize radar emmiters. So each time a (new) radar emitters appears, it should be threated as NEW one, which included different visual and audio indication.

Don't bother, leave it as it is, if it's not possible to sort the items in the list manually.

LOL - sorry @Martinbulldog but why did you then buy 4090 to have 2/3 of the possible settings on low? Waste of money. And 10700K is not an i9 series. @Fakum waste of time.

It does indeed, but would be better to sort them by usefulness or something. It's just a thought. I just bought this plane, and I must say it's an amazing piece or machinery. I don't know why I've never tired it before, somehow has been passing by without noticing.

Seems so, DL is only one factor, you need two, to keep the info of contacts. Persoanally if DL designates a contact undoubtedly as a friend of foe, why you would change that, when contact is seen by your onboard FCR? Makes no sence at all. The other story is when there is no DL. But we are not talking about that here.
