"Try before you Die" (sorry, I know that's in poor taste and can be deleted right away, but that's what came to mind when I read the request "Coronavirus sale" - so yes, in-poor-taste requests beget in-poor-taste replies).

That's why JetSeat is so nice to have when flying DCS modules - you get some satisfying tactile feedback from it for all kinds of actions, including the landing gear dropping and locking into place.

I am sure ED is planning to do just that, and I would assume "yes, they will", so long as there are no showstopping bugs or other issues that might prevent a release at that time. Considering how much of a moving target software development tends to be, we can only hope for the best.

Das neue Cockpit sieht echt klasse aus, und ich fliege nur in VR. Abgesehen von den Texturen haben ED ja auch das ganze 3D des Cockpits verbessert. Schon toll.

I find that in the heat of the battle the helmet-mounted monocle works a lot quicker to acquire targets.

+1 I think it's because here's it's a more civil, moderate (and actively moderated!) forum, while reddit and the likes of it are more like the scribble on the wall of a public toilet that - when left unchallenged - will run wild with more scribble and eventually lead to trolling and wild rumors... But that's just a guess on my part.

ED could do it if contracted to do so by LM or the USAF or contactor thereof; if we're lucky, we could get the declassified entertainment version afterwards if that ever came to pass.

As fallout9 suggested, check and reseat your grip. In VKBdevCfg, if you see something like this, reseating the grip usually does the trick:

ED is investigating those issues... do you think that results coincide with a newsletter? Or that developer work goes on outside of our weekly news peek and extends perhaps to several weeks? Not sure what the mocap work in Minsk might have to do with the developers working on the DCS core issues in Moscow...?

Not every weekly newsletter talks about the same stuff - and, we get them every week with tidbits of what ED wants to share with us. Why not wait until ED has something more to share next time? It's really that simple:waiting isn't hard, doesn't cost money, doesn't make anyone's life any worse.

Was ich immer wieder denke was ED machen sollte ist die Pilotenkörper zu erstellen und für alle Drittentwickler auch verfügbar zu machen. Damit es dann endlich keine leeren Cockpits mehr gibt. ED sollte das machen damit alles konsistent ist und die Qualität entsprechend stimmt. Das drumherum, z.B Helme, Uniformen, etc, etc, könnten dann die Drittentwickler entsprechend auf ihr Modul anpassen.

Klasse. Schön zu sehen wie die verschiedenen ED Teams DCS nach vorne bringen. Wurde das in deren MoCap studio gefilmt? War doch in der Schweiz, oder? EDIT: Das MoCap Studio ist in Minsk (gerade noch mal in der PDF gefunden).
