(screenshot blatantly cribbed from Damson) Oh mighty Krokodil, chariot of satan himself, You the chaddest of chad machines, With your engines mighty whine and thwockathwocka at high A oh A. Those mighty wings on high with menacing swoop Carrying doom for capitalist and barbarian alike Like a sniper with the gun going blyat blyat blyat or the sound of God's own fart make all target in smoke disappear and leave their mothers in fear. All of the rockets snug in their pods sing songs of Soviet glory as they race to dig the imperialists' early grave. Monster helicopter looking so mean you have featured in many kids' dream either of glorious service to motherland dear or as a nightmares central fear. I my Hind, and in time I think it will me back. Bally good show ED!

available now Is it looking good for a second quarter release ?
schurem replied to ctguy1955's topic in DCS: Marianas
Heh probably because the patch was already heavy at 60gb. -
Haha when you turn on pilot body it's immediately obvious how borked the default head position is. And, following that, that something is severely off about the gunsight's orientation.

correct as is Cannot fire rockets if also equipped with guns.

So how do I switch between rocket pods? I only see a left/both/right switch, not an inner/outer one. -

But you can have four pods of rockets, right? And can you have two and two of different types of rockets? -
...or... Perhaps.. they decide to drop the motherlovin' marianas as well!!

So, is today the day? Will the training missions and such be updated to reflect these changes?

No track needed to reproduce. Please put on bug list @BIGNEWY! -
I know this topic has come up a lot. But I was wondering if there has been any word out of Eagle Dynamics about improvements to the realism of the final stage of a missiles' life.

Man adjustable mirrors would be awesome! In all of DCS!
-
That would be awesome. Also highly unlikely. But hey you never know, do we comrade?

Perhaps as partof the update that includes the Krokodil, they fix the insane accuracy of IFV's such as the BMP3 which is more accurate vs aircraft than a ZSU-23-4!

request for a video showcasing damage model

Still, when the time comes, it would be neat to see the intricate ways this machine can break. -
Can't wait to do that on a server with my mates! Will there be GsH23 pods as well for moar dakka?

Speaking of which, wouldn't it be grand if Glowing Amraam could do spitfires flicking about those gorgeous 2.7 clouds while Nick reads "High Flight".

Yeah, s for seria or production version. After that came Su-27SM serie modernisatsia, modernised. Etc. Anyway. Congratulations ED on the new marketing model. Its incredibly generous and I hope and guess it's going to lead to great sales conversion. Good job. Smart move. Bold one too. A far cry from the days of StarForce, no?

Aircraft before the 1993 tech explosion for DCS
schurem replied to Pikey's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Yup, you guys are onto something. Late cold war stuff is where it's at. Before GPS. Before AMRAAM. When men were men, and sheep knew their place. -
Yeah I just finished it by referring to the briefing one a couple times en route. It's a great mission design mate. Truly hair raising fun. What would make it easier, but is perhaps complicated to implement, is some vocal feedback on your timings. Run a bit fast and they'd say "you're early, slow down" and vice versa.

I flew this some time ago (years?) in the MiG-15. It was hard, but doable. I am now trying it in the Sabre, and it is hard as heck. The charts provided are in Km/H and the sabre is in MpH, so yeah.

Cloud fix works for me. They looked awful in the distance until I turned them to the Ultra quality setting, something even my elderly 1070 manages! So kudos to ED for some fine, fast rendering clouds!

I bound it to a unused hat on my HOTAS, on this crate, I have an abundance of those
-
But they won't as they don't benefit from active armed force maintenance contracts like the Mirage does.

Hi, I am having a problem with the default head position in the Sabre. When looking at the external view, the read head rest should be about as high as the pilot's head. However, if you turn around in VR, you will found you look up at the headrest by default. It's like the default position is for a child, or slumped down pilot. I see how it makes sense in 2D as it keeps the gunsight in view, but for VR it's beyond annoying. Is there a work-around I could apply, say a file I could edit that contains the coordinates of the default head position?
