  1. If it installed correctly you should see files in this path: <your drive letter>:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\campaigns\A-10C TTQ And see it under the A-10C Campaigns Tab: If it's not visible then use the Module Manager to uninstall and reinstall it.
  2. Sorry some of you are having problems with these missions. You do need to fly aggressively (it's a combat aircraft not a Cessna). Try and get on altitude, heading and speed as quickly as you can. If you take too long then you can miss a trigger zone which will mess things up. Fly the flight plan as indicated hitting the waypoints in order and you should hit the triggers in the appropriate way. Please report any other issues and we will investigate and see if we can make the process to success better.
  3. Thanks for the feedback Heidi. It would be costly to update the voice overs with new ones but we can see about adding some variety to the missions. You can change the livery in each mission using the Mission Planner but you will have to do that for each mission. Unfortunately you can't change the country. I'll add this to the DCS Wishlist section as I think it's a good idea (being able to do it at campaign start instead of each mission). We are adding campaign patches to all our campaigns but don't have much control over the DCS medal awarding (that's based on your overall player scoring across all missions even those outside the campaign). AI skill is set to excellent so you are getting the best the game engine can provide. However, ED have indicated they are planning on updating the AI to make it more realistic (AI can blackout if they pull too many G's, etc).
  4. The ME currently has no capability to detect pilot dead vs unit dead within the trigger selections. I'll make the request in the DCS Wishlist forum as I think it would be a good idea to have that.
  5. We haven't tested in the latest version but Sydy and MrPilot have some good videos: Sydy: MrPilot:
  6. Once the C-130 comes to a stop you should see some messages indicating that the mission has ended. Press ESC and then end the mission. Then the campaign will continue from there.
  7. Looks great! Good job.
  8. It could be the latest patch has broken the downed AI pilot actions again. If you can't authenticate the pilot then the mission assumes he has been compromised so the trap is sprung and the air defence units attack the SAR helos. I recall this happening in an earlier version and it was fixed. I recommend re-downloading the campaign again (disable and re-enable in the module manager) to make sure you have the latest version. We will retest and see if it is truly broken and if so will provide a fix for the next update.
  9. Looks great!
  10. Glad you are enjoying the campaigns. I believe if the JTAC is lasing for too long they will turn off the laser and say "NO MARK". I recommend you only ask for "LASER ON" when you are close to the drop parameters. You also have "LASER ON 10 SECONDS" to give the JTAC warning that you are expecting the "LASER ON" call soon but when working with the AI JTAC I don't think that makes much of a difference.
  12. Great! Yes ED have been working on the lights so the anti-collision light reflection is a known problem. We haven't had any problems finding targets in the TGP but it really depends on the terrain and your contrast settings.
  13. Glad you are enjoying them. Yes Blackjack and Showtime are real entities. We listened to alot of actual Red Flag radio audio and researched online and through books when developing the campaign.
  14. Using the latest DCS OpenBeta version 2.5.2.17559 we retested both the practice and campaign missions and the altitude triggers worked on our system (Altimeter setting: 2992). See completed screenshot below. Check the timestamps on the mission files (<your drive letter>:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\campaigns\A-10C - Basic Flight Training Qualification) to make sure they are the latest update (ours were dated May 24th). If they didn't update then try a DCS Repair. If that still doesn't update then try to uninstall and reinstall the campaign to get the latest version. We did get a couple of Maintain Altitude messages for angels 10 and angels 8 but that didn't stop us from completing the mission. We suspect the current version of the game engine has a problem with a single trigger checking both above and below the altitude thresholds using an OR condition. If you are still having problems please email us at mapleflagmissions@gmail.com and we will help you out.
  15. That's a good suggestion. We are slowing adding more and more to support VR users. Would having an F10 menu item to re-display the NAV info for say 30 seconds also be helpful (including adding a kneeboard page with the details)?
  16. BFM in the F-15C is easier given the capabilities of that aircraft but the maneuvering and SA are still challenging. ED decides when it will be released on STEAM but it's usually a few months after the ED release.
  17. We had to use some artistic license as Poland didn't participate in Red Flag until 2012 and Romania in 2015 and the Red Eagles disbanded in 1988. We liked the all metal skins of the Polish fighters so we decided to use them.
  18. What version of the release (2.5, 2.5 OpenBeta) or the older 1.5.8? Does it happen in the practice mission too (the triggers are the same)? The subsequent targets are activated when you get within 1 mile of the target you are chasing so maybe you were too far away? We will retest and see if we need to make those zones bigger.
  19. Thanks BBQ. We retested the mission and the shutdown worked ok on our test system. We have made some changes to the altitude triggers to account for some recent game engine changes but that should not effect the shutdown triggers. After the next patch update please let us know if you are still having trouble with the shutdown triggers and we can investigate further.
  20. Do you recall what the last audio message was that you heard?
  21. You really only need to set the radio frequencies when communicating with that particular element - however the missions are not testing for radio settings so you will hear the FE regardless of your specific radio settings. It was easier to do it this way as we found Users were missing important FE messages because they forgot to switch their radios back to the right frequency at certain times in the flight path. Not as realistic but easier for the User. Guard frequency 243.00 is usually monitored on UHF and VHF is used for flight and ATC comms however some elements have both VHF and UHF frequencies available for them. For formal operations Guard should be constantly monitored but for these missions you can ignore Guard and leave your UHF setting at 251.00 to monitor other aircraft comms. Here is a link with info about managing multiple frequencies: https://www.aopa.org/news-and-media/all-news/2008/august/flight-training-magazine/frequent-frequencies
  22. Yes - sorry for the issues with this. There was a thread posted in the A-10 section where a knowledgeable A-10 person indicated that the A-10 pilots never set QFE but always leave it at 2992. Since most of the practice missions start with you airborne and defaulted to 2992 already we thought this made it simpler to keep all the altitude triggers consistent between the practice missions and the campaign missions. One wrinkle introduced recently is that ED has been adjusting the altitude game engine settings in 2.5 so the first time our triggers were off about 200-300'. We adjusted them to correct and then ED made further changes which we then also had to adjust again. The latest patched version should have the updated values now but one trigger in BFT05 still had an issue. When diving for Angels 7 you should fly below 6400' to get the trigger to fire. We have sent another update to ED so that should correct that issue. We have created a altitude test mission so we can confirm if it changes in future updates and adjust our missions accordingly. Thankfully the other campaigns are more immune to these changes. We are reviewing the documentation and will update the references and highlight the 2992 value better so players not familiar with the requirement will be aware. Also as part of the documentation review we are updating the badges to higher resolution images. These will appear in a future ED update.
  23. Yes you have to play the practice missions through the mission editor. The campaign only contains the qualification missions now. This was based on user feedback so all the campaigns are like this now. We will retest and see if we can reproduce the issue reported.
  24. In the last update 2.5.1.16978 the F-4E units got replaced with A-10Cs. We have updated the missions to have the correct F-4E unit designations. ED has the fixed files so this should be corrected in the next update.
  25. In the last update 2.5.1.16978 the F-4E units got replaced with A-10Cs. We have updated the missions to have the correct F-4E unit designations. ED has the fixed files so this should be corrected in the next update.
