firmek
Nice work with the pilots. I'm really looking forward to this bird. I haven't bought the Gazelle, because I'm not into it, but I will buy the Bo-105 for sure :joystick: +1. I'll go for BO-105 as soon as it's available in pre-order. I have all other DCS helis but Gazelle maybe just due to its look is not my pair of shoes. 1 F/A-18, F-16, F-14, M-2000C, A-10C, AV-8B, AJS-37 Viggen, F-5E-3, F-86F, MiG-21bis, MiG-15bis, L-39 Albatros, C-101 Aviojet, P-51D, Spitfire LF Mk. Rogue Trooper
I also thought the same about the MI-8. It is now pretty much the most complete and enjoyable chopper in DCS. For me it is the pure clarity of design and philosophy that appears to ring true in each DCS module... I cannot wait to find the strength and weakness in each airframe. Edited July 5, 2016 by Rogue Trooper HP G2 Reverb, Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate as standard. OpenXR user, Open XR tool kit disabled. Open XR was a massive upgrade for me. DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), 0 X MSAA, 0 X SSAA. My real IPD is 64.5mm. Prescription VROptition lenses installed. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC at the mo. MT user (2 - 5 fps gain). DCS run at 60Hz. Vaicom user. Thrustmaster warthog user. MFG pedals with damper upgrade.... and what an upgrade! Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height with brail enhancements to ensure 100% button activation in VR.. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound.... you know when you are dropping into VRS with this bad boy.
firmek
Yep, the Mi-8 is so ugly that it's just beautiful :) My favorite helicopter and actually also a module in DCS. At the end of a day it’s up to everyone personal preferences. Probably I'll end up buying Gazelle also especially there are a lot of positive feedback regarding it. I'm really looking forward for Polychop keeping a high quality approach and releasing BO-105 when it’s generally complete, with camping and training missions. Schmidtfire
The sight reticle of the Bo-105 with Athos system. Simple and clean  Would be really cool to add optical distortions to enhance the illusion of looking through a glass binocular. For example, a slight fisheye effect when zoomed out and a clearer picture. When zoomed in, a bit more haziness and telephoto distortion. https://photographylife.com/what-is-distortion

Aginor
Cool! Such many variants is simply awesome! Soo... I take it you don't have sources (or time) left to do those ones as well? Ok, and to get completely ridiculous: What about the NBC configuration? http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/ulrich_wrede/bo-105_1m_nbc/ :D No, really. It wouldn't be of much use anyway.
