BaD CrC
I am wondering if the flight model will really (and realistically) allows those crazy stunts that we can see on some videos? I mean, the flight dynamics of an helicopter are complicated enough when just flying straight, I can't figure out how just plain mad it must be when upside down. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden

It should work exactly the same as when rightside up in a reasonably detailed flight model. The equations the computer is running do not care if a number is positive or negative. In any case, we'll get a pretty good idea of how detailed Polychop's flight modeling is once we get the Gazelle. QuiGon
Haven't heard anything about this bird in a while. I hope work is still going on, despite the release of the Gazelle, because the Bo-105 is what I'm really waiting for. :) Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing! MAD-MM
Fragger did the HOT guidiance euqipment work on the same way like in the Gazelle the small joystick looks littel bit different and the WSO stick on the left side? The_Fragger
It works almost the same as in the Gazelle. The only difference on the BO-105 is, that you aim with the Athos Sight system. The guidiance procedure is the same as for the Gazelle. In the BO-105PAH1A1 you have a dropable guidiance unit (located between the seats). On the pilot's collective, you have a "SIGHT LINE ON" switch , which you have to keep pressed. As long you have it keep pressed, the helicopter's yaw behaviour is stabilized. Also - when "SIGHT LINE ON" is pressed, the helicopter follows the direction of the Gunner's Sightline input (Ministick) Fragger did the HOT guidiance euqipment work on the same way like in the Gazelle the small joystick looks littel bit different and the WSO stick on the left side? Focha
Just a simple and not useful idea. Can the weapons officer/FO move it's hand to the firing controls, only after master arm is on? Much like what you have done in the Gazelle NVGs. That would be awesome. Great work! Rogue Trooper
Loving the Gazelle, a real joy to take into combat. It is suprising how much advantage a roof mounted sight gives. Looking forward to the B0-105's 6 Hot missiles, but the sighting system comparison between the BO-105 and gazelle will be very interesting.
