Seems early morning sunrise flights with fog enabled gives this yellow mustard gas layer... Seems odd, this is vanilla DCS 2.5, and i can reproduce this every time i fly the mission.

Yes!

I was wondering if it was just me, because I could not find anyone else reporting the same thing, and was just about to open a new thread when I saw this.

Definitely weird yellow/brown-green cast to fog.

It is especially bad in the M-2000C ILS landing training mission.

This is pollution caused by aircraft exhaust fumes, give it a few weeks and once the hype of the 2.5 release dies down a bit the smog should start to dissipate :D

On a serious note, I can confirm this also. Hopefully it's a squishable bug.

DCS California Wildfires Simulator effect ... I can just feel the heat. I now only fly with my Nomex flight gloves on. Good thing I didn't throw them away after I retired. wink.gif

I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) :pilotfly:

Yeah, as Texac said, i guess this is a WiP thing...the color is not fine but also, how the fog works in general is not fine either, I mean, it doesnt blend correctly with the horizon, the gradient looks odd over the water, it doesnt match the ambien light colour, many issue when entering in the fog (there is a point where mountains look very oddly shaded), its extremely dense even in the max visibility setting, etc.

So Im pretty sure they are yet working on it, maybe we will get some "new" improved fog fx and thats why the old one look odd now...anyway, surely its a WiP.

Take a look at my MODS here

You have landed at ZBAA (Beijing) on a bright sunny morning.

The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...

Yup lots of bluish colour indeed,

I have missions in rain, snow foggy and it is bluish. Also, the snow sweeping across the airfield looks better without DS on. It resembles a snowstorm much better without DS on.
