EUROPEAN BASED - CJTF-13 - JOINT TASK FORCE (Fighter jets , Helicopters & Air Traffic Control) The CJTF-13 Battalion is aiming for the most realistic and immersive virtual experience in TAW DCS. We follow real life procedures as closely as possible, we use strict radio communications and train HARD to get to this high level of virtual flying! This type of flight simming is not for everyone, because it requires a certain type of mindset, fierce dedication and motivation to do it right. If you are looking for relatively short, action packed missions which can be played without much in-depth planning and preparation, then the CJTF-13 is NOT the right place for you. If you are looking for very realistic, in-depth planned events, where flying to the ‘AO’ means you may have to rely on Air to Air refuel to be able to make it there and back home, following the correct waypoints/altitudes/speeds to be ‘on station’ at the predetermined time (ToT), where the other Squadrons are a key part of the success of the mission at hand, then the CJTF-13 is THE PLACE TO BE!!! We create MDC’s (Mission Data Cards) where all important information is stated, then we import this into DCS so every pilot has the info in his Kneeboard Map while performing the missions. Maps we use: Persian Gulf , Syria , Caucasus , Marianas (Maybe other maps in the future) We focus on both LAND and NAVAL OPERATIONS in every mission, we only use full fidelity modules which are currently the F-16C, F/A-18C, F-15E and Helicopters. The CJTF-13 hold its weekly Training Sessions on THURSDAY’s @ 2030 CE(S)T (Summer Time 1830Z, Winter Time 1930Z). #################### The minimum requirements for joining the CJTF-13 are as follows: – Being PRO-ACTIVE, willing to read and learn documents and perfect your skills in your own time, outside of regular training events – Able to fly formation perfectly and able to execute Air to Air Refuel (AAR) in fair weather (for fixed wings) – In any helicopter, you need to be able to conduct a stationary hover pedal-turn to maneuver around tight forward bases. – Basic experience using Navigation, Combat Systems and Weapons – Experience with using SRS (Simple Radio) and Basic knowledge of ATC Communication – Able to execute a CASE 1 Recovery on a CARRIER; if choosing a NAVAL Aircraft - Able to execute an OVERHEAD BREAK and FAN BREAK together with proper AIRBASE procedures; if choosing a LAND BASED aircraft – Able to speak and understand proficient ENGLISH; Communication is key to success, we need to understand eachother – Using TrackIR or a similar system, or Virtual Reality – Owning the aircraft module of your choice and required maps. ED doesn't believe that developing a full fidelity F-15C is cost effective, because it's a pure fighter. Are they wrong? Would you buy it?

Thanks ED! Many have been waiting for this classic for a long time. I hope they make both variants; original MISPII from late 1980s/Desert Storm, given the plethora of late cold war modules including MiG-29 9.12, Tornado IDS, F-14, A-6, A-7, Su-17, Mi-24 and many more. And maps like Iraq for 1991 Desert Storm and late Cold War Fulda Gap. When the Eagle was the ultimete apex predator. And mid-2000s more modern variant (if sufficiently declassified) F-15C with Link-16, JHMCS etc. to fit our Hornet, Viper etc. Personally i'm hyped. What do you thing about the light-grey fighter Eagle?

The virtual Task Force 77 recruitment is now open once again and looking for skilled pilots. Who are we: vTF-77 is a DCS fighter, attack, and expeditionary task force, dedicated to providing a realistic experience within the 'mil sim' environment, while providing immersive and tactical operations for our pilots. That said, we are also about having fun in that experience. As a task force we have a great love for Air Force, Naval, and marine aviation and have squadrons available for all seeking the unique cultures those squadrons provide. Ciao Ragazzi, Leggendo il manuale dell’Apache a pagina 15 (se non sbaglio) c’è uno screenshot “DCS World Main Menu” e come mio solito mi metto ad analizzare il numero di versione o i moduli presenti per vedere se trovo indizi su futuri rilasci…. La cosa che mi è balzata all’occhio è al dicitura beta sotto il modulo stand alone di dell’F-15 di FC3. Fosse stata un icona che diceva F-15E beta, avrei pensato che hanno già il modulo di Razbam in mano (cosa per altro molto probabile) ma qui si parla di F-15C che è quello di ED con PFM/SMM e che non DOVREBBE essere in beta… Sicuramente non stanno lavorando ad un modulo Full Fidelity ma potrebbe essere possibile che abbiamo intenzione di fare una sorta di SMM++ (o ASM- -) in cui hanno lasciato l’avionica semplificata ma con cockpit clickabile??

I was trying to edit the RCS of the F-15C, but I was unable to find the F-15C.lua file. This is if it does exist. Is there an F-15C.lua file? If so, where is it? If not, what file has the RCS?

Hello, I'm new here, but not to DCS World. My father loves DCS World but one thing pretty much takes away his ability to do many missions that require a hot jet. His game, regardless if it's in the air or on the ground hot setting, is ALWAYS cold and dark. For example, we start him in the air for a quick mission, cold and dark jet. Instant action on the catapult??? Cold and dark jet. I was able to help him get setup since his DCS download was incomplete. It didn't even have a Run.exe program. As far as I know it doesn't have an updater.exe but I can check with him. He's reinstalled twice to my knowledge but the problem persists. What do you guys think it is? Should I just tell him to raise a ticket? Or, since my DCS is doing well, just transfer some main files over to him? Thanks everyone, Sabre65

В системе сообщений Сухие переименованы в J-11B и J-15 соответственно. Никакие клиентские моды для игры не нужны. Достаточно занять слот любого из фланкеров и можно лететь в бой. На сервере идет постоянный бой между 10 ботами высшей квалификации в зоне между Мин-Водами и Кутаиси. Где можно наглядно убедиться в новых возможностях красных. Слоты в этой зоне обозначены приставкой PVE/PVP. К сожалению существующие опции не позволяют переименовывать представленные в DCS образцы самолетов так чтобы новые названия отображались в Unit type столбце, в сообщениях чата и в окне F10. Функции Fog of War так же остро не недостаёт нескольких подпунктов в которых галочками можно было бы отключать названия самолётов и/или имена игроков. Которые применялись бы как к синим так и к красным по отдельности. Надеюсь команде ED не составит труда добавить эти опции. С помощью которых удастся значительно обогатить игровой процесс на базе представленных советских модулей в FC3, некликабельный формат которого открывает многие возможности по добавлению новых модулей красных без оглядки на секретность в случае с Full Fidelity образцами. Однако уже существующие возможности многократно повысили боеспособность красных. Убедиться в чём можно поиграв на сервере. Все кому интересна эта идея могут присоединиться к нашему Дискорду. I built the A-10C cockpit years back, and recently also built the F-15E and started a youtube channel showing the steps to build the latter. After accumulating much experience building the first cockpit, building the second one was much faster, especially using FreeCAD and 3D printing panels instead of drilling holes, creating recesses etc. The 3D printer is also very versatile in creating other things like knobs, levers etc. whatever you can dream up and create in FreeCAD. I started with FreeCAD and Arduino basics before showing the first panel build.
