We need more multirole a/c. I certainly won't be buying air superiority a/c because I like dropping bombs, so why limit your customer base?

Agreed, multi-role all the way. But whatever they make, I'm sure it will be great.

 

I'd love to see a western aircraft from a similar period and in a similar role to the MIG-21 though, maybe something like the Sepecat Jaguar.

Personally I would like to see the TU-22M... And a B1B as the Western counterpart... (And of course the F-14 Tomcat as it's entire meaning of life was to protect against the Backfire threat..)

Well, I really like the looks of the Su-22, especially the wing design. Whether or not I want it in game will really depend on how I take to the Mig-21 in the ground attack role. If I really enjoy using the Mig-21 in the ground attack role, I will no doubt support a Su-22. :thumbup:

I'd buy it. Then again I'd buy anything DCS puts out as long as it maintains the high-fidelity standards of the other mods.

 

However - I think most would agree that there are so many more interesting aircraft to work on than the su-22.

Out of all the Russian aircraft, mostly I'd like a MiG-29. Even an early variant would be great. Really surprised by the lack of enthusiasm for it. I blame the Su-27. :glare:
