But Cobra the realese is goin even without the new engine patch, or only after this realese by ED? I ask this because i remember read some develop say the MIG 21 only be realese whit the new "engine" sistem. What would be the correct information about it?

The new engine has aboslutly nothing to do with aircraft. It is desinged to replace terrain rendering and has not much todo with the aircraft itselfe.

And it might still be some more months out, so better not wait for that! :)

Ah, bit of lack of clarity on my part; expect the update within 12 hours or so, technically tomorrow in EU.

Biggest problem with stock AFB is imho its model. It's a hollow tube basically, so viewed from behind, it looks ridiculous with no sense of volume. At least the texture could be tweaked...

 

MiG-21 AFB however... is probably going to burn through my monitor :D Good lord it looks awesome!

Yeah, it is pretty awesome. I guess I will spent lots of taxpayers' Dollars, Euros, Rubles, or whatever on fuel needlessly, just to see that beautiful graphics effect. :D

Those screens of the afterburner really don't do it justice. I can't wait for you guys to see it in a video.

 

Also the start-up sounds in cockpit are awesome, pressurizing the canopy etc all feels realistic with the sounds :D

Yeah I see I missed that post from yesterday. Apparently there was an update to what was suppose to be yesterdays update, but it looks like it will be todays update...:cry::helpsmilie: :)
