The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

Obviously a bldg from the Normandy Map. But too fuzzy to see detail. Maybe also early radar grid or something for trains. I dunno...

 

But surely it means Normandy is "soon" after the Spitfire which is also "in the coming weeks" "by the end of the year" and "soon" "Two weeks" "to be sure" :joystick::pilotfly:

Spitfire soon. Normandy is a ways off I believe because of 2.5

 

Right now our flight dynamics engineering team is occupied with the Spitfire. When there is news on those FC3 aircraft, it will be shared.

If I were to take a wild guess, it looks like something that's late 19th Century Industrial and of the American west.

 

Something to do with one of the old Nevada mines, or a railroad?

I think it is a Peenamunde-esque launch tower... bottom left corner of his avatar reminds me of a V1 launch ramp and the building has similarities to the sites at Peenamunde with erector rigging.

A new map centre on east front without complete Normandy? very improbable. I think has some structure on new Caucasus map or Straight of Hormuz.

I'm not saying it *is* Peenamunde on the Baltic... I am just saying that the building in his avatar and the little ramp on the lower left remind me of similar structures found at Peenamunde.

 

Maybe they are there to offer some Normandy V1-2 sites? Although I am pretty sure that the V2s being rifled from France were mostly on mobile units. Not sure that a 2 story stucture would be present.

 

... Its the best my feeble brain could muster.

Looks a lot like the old grizzly at the silver top mine in Tonopah... geography is a bit different though.

I think you're on to something there my friend...from another angle. Like you said before, the geography is a bit different.

Unfortunately, for Wags, Nando's has not made it that far west yet. Chicago is as far as they have gotten, last time I looked.
