hawk is in coremods as well since some time now, havent noticed for a while.

would be nice to have those things in the update notes ;)

small bug for the c-101, it shows up YELLOW in the aircraft list in the ME, and the client will crash if you try to get into one. i guess as with the rest you should just be dropped to the map.

Looks like some changes for the MiG-21.

Basic engine sounds now when in the cockpit and slightly smoother take off and landing, so a possible tweak in the flight model?

I was just flying the bird before I exited to grab the patch, went back in to continue flying and the SU-27 is completely broken. Instruments all unresponsive, the plane is already started at the ramp (when it shouldn't be), I cant turn the engines or electrical off, I go full afterburner while parked and it just sits there.

Tried verifying / repairing, tried everything except re-install FC3.

No mods installed.

**Edit**

All FC3 Modules are broke on ramp starts only.

Just a report. I will take my questions to the appropriate sub forum.

Delete the saved games folder. Usually needed after an update, not always. Does sound like controls thing, in part at least.

Thanks for the tip AtaliaA1! I really appreciate it. I did find out what was causing the odd behavior, and it's exactly what you told me. I wish I saw your post before I did a full re-installation.

Just wanted to stop back in case it helps someone out in the future.

Symptoms:

When engines and systems are unresponsive.

External and internal model out of sync.

I.E. When you close the cockpit canopy or door and see it close from the cockpit but when in the external view the cockpit canopy or door remains open.

Go in to your saved games folder and delete your custom input settings for the aircraft that is acting all whacky.

Path: C:\Users\<User>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input

How did I find this out?

I did a complete re-install of DCS World and all of my modules. Everything worked fine.

I imported my saved input files and the aircraft were broken again. Deleted my saved input files and rebound my controller and everything is fine again.

Cheers!

I am in no way bashing anyone here.

The old school logic of "Re-Formatting" is never a good idea. If U are having issues with a program or device once the format is complete and U reinstall the item that is causing the error U will be back to square one.

I do understand that the skill level necessary to trouble shoot on that level takes some time to learn, remember we have google for just that reason. If U can find DOs command syntax U can Trouble shoot on that level. There are even IRQ and Interrupt errors still on the web this being an issue from the early 90's.

On the subject of this software it seems always necessary to delete the saved games folder upon receiving and update.

I didn't reformat, I just reinstalled DCS. Im an advanced user (software dev), i've also been flying DCS sims since 09. I just wouldnt have thought it would be tied to the input folder, and when i'm not working I switch logic off and grab a beer.

First time i've had the issue though. Glad it's an easy fix.

Usually Repair should fix problems in the /Eagle Dyanamics/DCS World/ Folder.

if problem Persists, Rename /Saved Games/DCS Folder (ie DCS-Backup) and relaunch DCS.

Tried all the cmd line stuff relevant, including the repair function.

Yup, as I mentioned in my earlier post, it was the custom input for the module.
