weird this one... feels smoother.

More responsive.

HP G2 Reverb, Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate as standard. OpenXR user, Open XR tool kit disabled. Open XR was a massive upgrade for me.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), 0 X MSAA, 0 X SSAA. My real IPD is 64.5mm. Prescription VROptition lenses installed. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC at the mo. MT user  (2 - 5 fps gain). DCS run at 60Hz.

Vaicom user. Thrustmaster warthog user. MFG pedals with damper upgrade.... and what an upgrade! Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height with brail enhancements to ensure 100% button activation in VR.. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound.... you know when you are dropping into VRS with this bad boy.

I agree.

I could swear that the sensation of speed at lower altitudes has increased...

Well, that's an old problem that still seems to persist. However, I've not seen or experienced this in ages since I only fly choppers nowadays...

The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

Yes, I know. Thoi problem was since hardly ever on CBU87. But now it became a problem for the 97 too!?

Anyone having performance problems, I will strongly suggest you to completely remove DCS, make sure there is no DCS folders left, and install it again.

Do keep your saved games/dcs/config/input folder so you dont have to set up your controls again.

It did the trick for me, and im now back from 10-25 fps to being between 60-120 fps. :)

Wow, i can comfirm a huge 10 to 15 fps in my triple monitor setup, the first thing i did after the update is to take the A10 in a fast low level flight and i felt the speed! Also i compared this flight to some similar ones that i had done before and comparing the Fps counter i have improved 10fps, from 50-55, to 60--65.

Its a great surprise.

Has anyone noticed the fabulous shine of the metal surface in the Mig15? Is this already an advance of DCSW2???

I noticed really big improvements with the MiG21Bis.

This may be subjective but this bird is even more responsive, landing gear seems to be less fragile (or could be that I can land this bird better now not sure.) She sounds like a fast jet now no longer mute when going super sonic. Some graphical fixes in and out of the cockpit, I'm sure Leatherneck will list them all but it sure "feels" much better.

I did a super quick benchmark as I haven't updated until now and there's no difference for me. But it was just simple and short flying around in Su-25, so it might not be indicative of anything :D

I also noticed that the load times seem to have decreased, too. :)

I don't see an improvement in framerates, but then, I didn't have issues with it before, so I wouldn't.

After the first mission loads, subsequent mission loading is much quicker than in previous versions and I also noticed that some of the models seem to have brighter textures. maybe this is connected to the performance increase people are seeing?

I had a big screen freeze online that went from cockpit at 2 KM to burning funeral pyre at the dirt barrier. Screen locked up for 10 seconds!!

Answers to most important questions ATC can ask that every pilot should memorize:

1. No, I do not have a pen. 2. Indicating 250
