Dear all,

On 21 June at 1300 Pacific Standard Time, I will be running a live Twitch stream of me flying over the Nevada Test and Training Range map using DCS World 2. If there are any particular places over the map or planes you would like to see, let me know.

I hope you can all make it and see some live gameplay.

My Twitch channel is: http://www.twitch.tv/wagmatt

Thanks,

Matt

update from Sith http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2414704&postcount=2

Update from Matt about the stream:

1- will be in the med/high portion of the map

2- will be with aircraft already available to the public

3- new explosions are not in DCSW2 yet

4- there will be one fixed wing aircraft flight and one rotary wing aircraft flight

This stream will be pre-alpha, as such, performance may very from what we see to what we get in our release. So don't count on him displaying info like that at this time. As this goes through internal testers and gets optimized more, then we will start seeing performance info and requirements I am sure.

Updates from Wags http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2418294&postcount=124

A few notes before the Stream tomorrow:

1- This will be more of a Stream test than anything else. So, I will not be archiving the broadcast for later viewing. If it goes well though, I will do so in later streams.

2- Given that we are in the process of coding, a rather annoying error entered the code base yesterday. During the stream, you will see error warning windows pop up from time to time. These are due to work on the new ATC system. Keep calm and carry on.

3- Due to an issue with mouse interactive cockpits in the current build (dedug graphics showing), I'll just be using FC3 aircraft from the test stream (Su-27 and F-15C).

4- This will be the first time I have ever done a live steam, so it will probably be rather rough with a lot of ummms and periods where I have not much to say.

5- I will not be reading the stream chat, but I have one of our moderators that will be helping out. So, please do not try to ask me questions... I will not see them.

See you all tomorrow

@Wags, I would like to see a flight relay from northeast to southwest: L-39 -> Su-27-> Mi-8 (LV) -> Ka-50 (Hoover Dam) -> F-86 -> M1 Tank rush

Does the scenery extend as far as Lone Pine / Mount Whitney? I'd love to see the Hornet screaming down 190 (I think that is the highway?)..into Panamint Valley. Been buzzed on that road before.

(Like the way I snuck that request for the F/A-18 in there??) <g>

Wouldn't it be better to setup a poll for which aircraft? I mean, isn't everyone just going to choose the module they best like to fly?

The modules aren't changing much so no one really cares what aircraft he flies. What we care about is looking around the map and seeing the sites.

Personally I'm interested in the airbases and some areas that would be good for target practice!

I am away from home that day and would like to see the recording of that stream if it is possible.

If it's complicated to record for streamer, one of the viewers can record it and put it on You Tube.

Thanks!

I really hope it will be recorded somewhere so everyone can enjoy it even if they cant make the stream

I second this motion! :)

Also would love to see the Mig-21Bis take flight in the American skies. Though that's a Leatherneck module so don't know if that's allowed...

I would like to see the Grand Canyon, as well. And Groom Lake.

The aircraft doesn't matter, take one with good visability (so no Ka-50).

Twitch automatically saves broadcasts so they can be viewed later. Though I'd assume he will simultaneously record to upload it to youtube as well in the best quality.
