Laminator Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Great stream! Looked very promising with great visuals and high performance!
Etirion Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Not a fan of Youtube streaming and its blocked in germany The stream was awesome after the first crashes thanks very much!
SilentGun Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 I think the stream was incredibly amazing! but it would have been a lot more fun if Wags was reading the twitch chat. Link to my Imgur screenshots and motto http://imgur.com/a/Gt7dF One day in DCS... Vipers will fly along side Tomcats... Bugs with Superbugs, Tiffy's with Tornado's, Fulcrums with Flankers and Mirage with Rafales... :)The Future of DCS is a bright one:)
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted June 21, 2015 ED Team Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) thanks Matt and ED enjoyed the live stream :) feedback. 1. balance of sound and mic ( we need to be able to hear matt clearly ) 2. future streams should be archived for later viewing Edited June 22, 2015 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Charly_Owl Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Very nice stream, thoroughly enjoyed it. It would be interesting to see a quick glimpse of multiplayer (if possible), especially if we can see another aircraft with machineguns like the P-51 fire his .50 cal. There are performance issues with the .50 cal tracers at the moment, so I would be curious to see if this is fixed in DCS 2.0. wingnut Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 The Stream was great, I had no lag. Just had to refresh the page after the stream would crash or it would just keep loading. Very excited for DCSW 2.0. Thanks for doing the stream and look forward to the next one![sIGPIC]http://i.imgur.com/27wvRIj.png[/sIGPIC]
[DBS]TH0R Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) Thanks for this, I watched it with my squad over TS. Everyone enjoyed it. For the next time, could you please hit a tree with a heli? :music_whistling: That, and I love the implementation of object size / spotting issues some of us are having. Could we have some more info about it or example how it works in the next one (e.g. difference between off / normal / enlarged)? Revelation Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Great stream! Hopefully you all will decide to record the next one and upload to youtube as many have requested. The next stream should continue on like the first. I like how Wags made some changes as requested by the audience and even showcased a few things when requested. wolle Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Matt said they would listen to customer feedback. So now my feedback: release this thing now! It already looks amazing. Python Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Really enjoyed it, thank you for doing it for us Matt. Looking forward to DCS 2 even more now and I wasn't sure that was possible. Never mind the crashes at the beginning, it is pre Alpha and we all understand these things happen. Just give us as much of this stuff as you can to tie us over until we can do it ourselves please :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

lazduc Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Enjoyed this. I lived in Nevada for 50 years....great to see it.
Sawamura Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Despite what was shown on the stream - Why isn't there a replay or why are you against to have this stream on YouTube? Some folks in the chat posted that they can't watch the stream because the minimum internet speed required to watch the stream smoothly was too high, unfortunately including myself. The few frames I have seen looked great but why are you guys so against to have this on Youtube for everyone, even those with slower internet, to watch?
Backy 51 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Not bad! Enjoyed it. Take my money please! :D Matt, now that your Twitch cherry ride is complete, the next 4 sorties will be a breeze! ;) I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ghostdog688 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) great fun watching the LS... perhaps show us the progress a bit more regularly on twitch? should help keep us up to date. also, why not let other 3rd parties etc use the stream to announce/showcase their progress - it could also be used to show potential choices or dilemmas in the creation process - the chat will happily let you respond to feedback. on the subject of smart scaling - AWESOME!!! that's great news, as I use it heavily in another well-known modern combat sim (cough BMS cough). it will make those of us without 30" 4k screens a bit more competive :D Edited June 21, 2015 by ghostdog688
upupandaway Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 I was very satisfied with the stream, but it makes me want to sink my teeth into it even more. The engine seems to allow for many nice details that I do appreciate very much. Time to go to sleep and have a dream of the NTTR, perhaps... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Deedle, deedle!
