I have a question about the cockpit shadows setting being removed. will they always be on.

I use the oculus rift and having the shadows on reduces the fps. will this be an issue.

thanks in advance

To celebrate the news I just went and pre purchased the L39. Now I have a question and it may be obvious but will the L39 be able to be downloaded to 1.2 via module manager or will it have to be used within the OB.

Hope I have not made myself look stupid with this question:huh:

Soo they say soon.. If we take soon and convert it into a numerical statement we get 19151514.. Now will that be seconds if so then we have 221 days or 7months till release.. Or will it be minutes which is 36.4 years...

Ohh maybe milliseconds or .22days?

Ill take the nanosecond release or in .019 seconds!

For the WIN

If your desired effect on the target is making the pilot defecate his pants laughing then you can definitely achieve it with a launch like that.

Question: Will the 1.5 OB be available on Steam the day it released?

Wags has been saying in recent video updates that there will be no steam early access, which I assume means that the open beta will not be available on steam. You will have to get it from ED website.

Will the proper Changelog be in hardback or paper back? :D

Glad the ships are in sync now.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Unless I just misread something, that's not what it says on Facebook.

That might be the case, but the context of that was on new modules, i.e. early availability of things like the L-39.

Up to now the 'openbeta' channel on Steam has been part of the automated build/release mechanism for the DCS World base install.

Now, this might not be the case with 1.5 (as some things have probably moved around) but thought I should say that in context that's not what I believe Wags was saying when he said 'early access'.
