maxdiver Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I've got a fully modeled AH-6 Little Bird, meshed, textured and UV mapped. Got guns and ready for rigging and animation. Would love to get it flying in DCS, anybody want to help as I don't know where to go from here. ?.

maxdiver Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 AH-6 Little Bird modeled and ready to go !! Just to settle the doubt, I did purchase this from Turbosquid (artist is 3D_molier, his work is some of the best I've seen). I'm currently working the model in MAX to simplify the polygon count down, and setting up the animation/rigging for the rotors and drive head, control surfaces, but I'm not sure where to go on the cannons and interior yet. Attached are the original file sizes with another example of the interior diffuse UV maps. I'm currently researching the AH-6 flight capabilities, trying to find high quality sound clips, seeing whether I can mod the Huey to a AH-6. This is genuine thread, I think this would be spectacular flying the Casino strip....

As promised a few images from 3DS showing the model mesh detail, easy to cut out the guns for a open body design. Much, much more work needed in the cockpit detail, will change a number of textures and shades. Thanks for the support !.
