From a PR perspective......some news would have been useful.

No doubt they've been wrestling with lots of technical issues, but ED have shot themselves in the foot by not reassuring us all that matters are in hand?

I am itching for a sale and still debating whether to get F-5E, Mi-8, or the Spit. Anyways, I think code updates are different from product updates and the newsletter, which, if I understood correctly, we get patches released wednesdays but only patchwork, no sale flyer or other Hornet related news except on Friday as it is.

 

There is bound to be a summer sale according to my ED calendar from last year.

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

 

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

It was 2014 - and if ED have more time to prepare a bug free version for E3, better for us and ED.

What? How have they shot themselves in the foot? We just got an update on Friday, we know they are still working on everything, and they know the issues, I dont think we need to be told its gonna be ok every couple days.

Best to give it some more time after the "rather bumpy" update.

I hope the presentation at E3 turns out much better than 2015.

It should as they didnt make a presentation at E3 in 2015, so I would imagine it turns out better.

 

Wait...was it 2015 or 14 that Matt was trying to demo the NTTR map and ran into hardware issues?

They had issues in 2014, Matt wasn't there, someone else from ED was and I dont think it had anything to do with NTTR and more so Oculus.

Thank you for correcting me. :) I knew there was a snag there somewhere. I don't know how things work at E3, but one would think that Thrust Master and the VR hardware developers would jump on board to show off their gear for the best experience! :) Sorry for going OT.
