DieHard Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 "Pure Client Required" Just tried to join the Burning Skies WWII server. Never saw this message before, been playing DCS online in Multiplayer for 6 years. What's going on? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
DieHard Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 Integrity check failed! Culprit is "views.lua" via Spitfire Will attempt a repair. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
feefifofum Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Hi DieHard, A few versions ago an integrity check was implemented as an option for people hosting multiplayer servers, in the interest of fairness. Some user mods can cause your DCS installation to trigger this integrity check and show your installation as modified, which prevents you from joining the server. User mods that affect loadable ordnance or flyable airframes are two major things likely to cause you to fail an integrity check; some ground texture mods can also trigger a failure. (the shadows.lua in Starway's Caucases map comes to mind, most notably) You should see a little red shield at the top of the multiplayer browser indicating your client did not pass the integrity check, or a green shield if you did. If you don't pass, you can click on the red shield to see which files have failed the check, which you can usually use to deduce which user mods may be causing the issue and disable them while playing on that particular server. Happy flying! :) EDIT: Sniped by OP! 1 THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
DieHard Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) Thanks for info. Repair via All Programs under Eagle Dynamics for DCS World fixed my issue. And the repair did not mess up my saved custom Snap View settings and my new FOV in cockpit. I am good. Joined Burning Skies WWII server in MP no problem. 352ndDeacon Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Repair didn't fix mine. I have NO mods activated and clicking on the red shield show the following: Mods/aircraft/c_130/dcs_manifest.x86_64 Checked the folder for Mods/aircraft/c_130 and there is no file "dcs_manifest.86_64 I just did the repair again and there still is no such file. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions? Well, if you wouldn't have any mods, you would have a pure client which you don't have. Delete the whole C-130 aircraft mod then you're good to go
tom1502 Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 I'm getting a similar problem. I've got no mods, none. This is happening in 2.1.1 and I'm not sure why as I can't find the file Textures\Flame_14 has anyone else has this? I've run the repair process twice and it says everything is fine. tom1502 Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Ok, thanks for getting back to me. I'm guessing there is no way around it, unless integrity check is turned off? Windows 10 Home - 64 Bit Intel Core i7-9770K 32GB DDR4 RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti Oculus Rift S
Reflected Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Happens to me every time after I fly the Spit offline. It refers to some flame texture file. I can fix it by restarting the game, but it's annoying. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
tom1502 Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 I've never had it before, been flying fine up until last night when I couldn't join any servers and no one could join me when I hosted. It was a bit of a surprise really. Windows 10 Home - 64 Bit Intel Core i7-9770K 32GB DDR4 RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti Oculus Rift S
LeCuvier Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Integrity check in 2.1.1 is paranoid I wanted to fly MP after a long pause, and the MP starting screen showed the integrity shield green. I selected the burning Sky server and grabbed a plane and found myself sitting in a Messerschmitt with a flare gun. Everything seemed ok. Except that I hate the flare gun and I didn't really want to fly a Bf-109, so I exited and picked myself a FW-190. And now, OOPS!!! I get a pop-up stating that I failed the integrity check. And on the MP start screen there is a red shield now, and it identifies the file "textures/p-51d_cpt_glass_norm" as the culprit. Now, I have not modified that file in any way and I had run a repair before launching DCS World 2.1.1. It's just ridiculous how this integrity check prevents people from playing for no valid reason at all. In my opinion this whole integrity checking has gone over board. We are only gamers and we don't earn money or real-world fame by winning. If it's so difficult to implement a meaningful integrity check we should get rid of that paranoia altogether. I would appeal to the operators of MP servers to disable Integrity Check until there is a reasonable solution. Those who want to serve the deadserious integrity purists will continue to have integrity check enabled of course and I have no problem with that. I want to play and have fun, and I will prefer servers who let me have it. tom1502 Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Is there any news regarding a fix for this or am I only able to join servers without the Integrity Check enabled for the time being? Windows 10 Home - 64 Bit Intel Core i7-9770K 32GB DDR4 RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti Oculus Rift S
theOden Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Tried "Repair DCS World" still getting IC failure. Do I have to reinstall the whole bang? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
HellsBells Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Run a cleanup Try Command Prompt & Run x:\DCS World OpenBeta\Bin\DCS_Updater.exe cleanup Then a repair This will give a list of invalid files... also check your temptextures folder sometimes old files sit there and cause IC failure | i9 9900K Octa Core 2TB SSD +32GB Spectrix DDR4 @3200MHz RGB | 2 x Radeon RX480 in Crossfire. | TrackIR5 HOTAS Warthog,MFG Crosswind Pedals | Cougar MFDs | [OCG] Oceanic Combat Group discord.gg/ZmXEBSU "Through The Inferno" by deadlyfishes Official Australian Servers SRS: All Servers have Auto-Connect Enabled Server 1: TTI Caucasus Server 2: TTI Persian Gulf Server 3: OCG Training Server 4: OCG NTTR & Multiplayer Missions Australian Website AU Discord Server

LeCuvier Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Integrity check in 2.1 MP is identifies even stock files as "evil". I'd be perfectly happy to get rid of IC altogether. People can implement command sequences of any length in TARGET to facilitate combat handling. If I do the same in a macro it fails the integrity check. Even in 1.5. Ridiculous! Skopro_PL Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 having the same issue. and as soon as i fix one file another pops in its place. These are stock files mind you. Nothing modified. I even did a full reinstall. bolek Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Either try what it says: .\dcs_updater.exe cleanup or use regular CMD.EXE command prompt instead of PowerShell.
doodenkoff Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Type "cmd" at the Powershell prompt and it will allow for standard console commands without complaining about "non-recognized" input. Win 10 | i7 4770 @ 3.5GHz | 32GB DDR3 | 6 GB GTX1060
Mr_sukebe Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Thanks chaps. Now resolved. Just been on BurningSkies to sanity check. MRaza Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Do I have to uninstall my mods to run the repair? And is there any plan from ED to fix this issue?
cichlidfan Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Do I have to uninstall my mods to run the repair? And is there any plan from ED to fix this issue? The repair will remove your mods, though if you use a Mod Manager, like JSGME/OVGME, it will get screwed up since it will still think your mods are installed. As for ED fixing it, that will depend on whether they decide that mods not working is a problem in the first place.
