I see that in the last movie of Huey, there are textures with fake buildings. Is it gonna be final or removed? It looks quite bad IMO.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

i guess you are right. . . :-(

and i think that we will need some new textures for villages and towns for 2.5, too. the ones came with mustang´s last update for landscape texture for 1.5.x are finally the best!!

(Raises hand) I have a worry.

Currently it's possible to muck about landing helicopters on moving trains, but after watching Wags' latest 2.5 Huey video it appears that the train tracks are now equipped with power lines - which means no more heli fun.

Just to be clear,

I don't HAVE to keep 1.5 and 2.2 installed for the update to take place, as it just takes files from both which decreases DL time. If I choose to delete either or both, the update will still take place, correct? 2.5 is its own install and will just take longer to DL if the previous installs are absent, correct? I ask because currently 2.2 doesn't run on my rig, no matter what solution from the forums I've tried, and 1.5 crashes after missions EVERY TIME. I've had so many problems trying to fly this sim that I've stopped trying. I fear that if I leave them installed and let the updater copy files, that I'll have the same issues. I have A10C, FC3, and pre-ordered the F18, and if I'm not able to fly, I will be P***ed!! I feel I should just cut my losses and start fresh. The longer DL time is of no consequence to me because I haven't flown the sim in ages anyway!! It will be like flying it for the first time anyway. Sorry for the long winded post, just very frustrated with DCS.

100GB of 2.5 is huge.

If I keep Open Beta and OpenAlpha, how much of the 2.5 download will be copied files from OB and OA, not downloaded? Because downloading 100GB off the internet in one go is painful.

Could you PLEASE release the new map on Wed before the weekend (whenever that is)... If you release it on Friday its going to be a huge freegin mess and it will be over the weekend. Instead of flying and getting support it will just piss everyone off.... Release it so we can at lease prep for the weekend

...I dont know maybe I'm off here.. I love spending my time off looking at a download screen!
