Chuck's DCS: F/A-18C Guide

Just a question on the guide. Why a joystick curve for the Hornet while the Chuck's Guide for M2000C suggest a linear response. Both planes are FBW. I find Hornet a bit lazy, so I wonder why this choice?

Its because the AP in the hornet if the stick is bumped will disengage. This way if your hotas is a little older and doesn't hold a perfect zero AP won't turn off.

I don't know whether this has been adressed already or not. I didn't bother to read the whole thread to be honest.

 

 

But the introduction to weapons shows a table of the available bombs.

 

 

There it reads that the LGBs require a MFUZ NOSE setting. Wasn't it MFUZ OFF and EFUZ INST to avoid it being DUD? Or am I mixing things up here??

Yes, you are correct. The guide - and I need to be careful what I say here! - needs updating. We know Chuck is working hard on this and many other projects, so I'm sure he will get round to it when he has the time.

Hello mates i want to ask a question for the F18.I want to fly with ADF assistance.One the guide says to use 113.6Mhz.I can do that.But on the Caucasus map this is the only freq with Mhz.All are at khz.Can F18 fly freq with khz?
