How lovely.

I wonder though. Are hand movement instructions going to really modeled?. Like the deck crew giving you instruction on where to park on the deck.

I might need to learn hand signals from deck crews if this is going to be modeled

That would

Will they be dynamic and move in response to improper plane movement? Or will they be more scripted and stay in fairly rigid position?

Not sure if this is what you meant or not, but yellow shirts are prohibited from moving at the same time they are controlling. They are allowed to pause, move to a new spot, and then resume...but they are not allowed to move simultaneously with directing. Just an FYI!

I guess I meant to ask if they will jump out of the way if you're about to run them over.

If you are following their directions then you wouldn't be "about to run them over."

Yeah... lame... but optimization can be complicated.

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

With so much anticipation for the VR optimisation and the miracle 50% gain, I can only see further backlash when it comes out and people don't get what they expect on their 10 year old PCs.

I don't know about VR but last week update gives significant FPS improvement for my system.

Both, we also have the BRU-55 for the JSOWs and GBU-38s.

Educate me guys. That sounds very significant. I wonder what that could be contributed to?

"I wonder what that could be contributed to?"

Error / external factor not related to DCS update / placebo effect / hope triumphing over reality.

You always get a number of this type of post with every update. I have never been able to confirm a difference in fps when I test and compare. Take with a very large pinch of salt.
