tintifaxl Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Very interesting! Windows 10 64bit, Intel i9-9900@5Ghz, 32 Gig RAM, MSI RTX 3080 TI, 2 TB SSD, 43" 2160p@1440p monitor.
Dudikoff Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 That's interesting. FoxTwo Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Want. Desperately. Warthog compatibility and a reasonable cost please.
Supmua Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 I’m interested but only if it is compatible with pre-existing TM/VPC grips. Price it below Brunner’s offering and it will probably sell very well. PC: 5800X3D/4090, 11700K/3090, 9900K/2080Ti. Joystick bases: TMW, VPC WarBRD, MT50CM2, VKB GFII, FSSB R3L Joystick grips: TM (Warthog, F/A-18C), Realsimulator (F-16SGRH, F-18CGRH), VKB (Kosmosima LH, MCG, MCG Pro), VPC MongoosT50-CM2 Throttles: TMW, Winwing Super Taurus, Logitech Throttle Quadrant, Realsimulator Throttle (soon) VR: HTC Vive/Pro, Oculus Rift/Quest 2, Valve Index, Varjo Aero, https://forum.dcs.world/topic/300065-varjo-aero-general-guide-for-new-owners/
Harlikwin Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Yeah, It would be good to have either grip compatibility from warthog, or at least offer a F16 style grip and maybe a Mig style grip in addition to the F18 grip. Also make them hot swappable in game :). Also compatible with extensions :) New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1) Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).
McG Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Grip on right hand of the pic appears to say F-15C at bottom.
Wmacky Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Isn't there a issue with FFB sticks and extensions?
Dudikoff Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 (edited) I’m interested but only if it is compatible with pre-existing TM/VPC grips. Price it below Brunner’s offering and it will probably sell very well. Seconded. Plus, an option to keep TM Target compatibility like VKB drivers allow for their bases would be a major plus. Then I could have another base option for my TM setup and I could ditch the G940 for good. Never really bother getting it out given its lousy software. viper2097 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 (edited) 1100$? Only the base? No idea if it is "worth" that amount, but sorry, WAY out of everything I could (or would) afford. When did the "flight sim hobby" got so out of control? Stick bases for 1000$+, HOTAS for 800$+, graphic cards for 1500$+, rudder pedals for 300$+, HMD's for 800$+, Throttle mods for 50$+, Seat covers for 150$+ and so on... Never start to talk about a computer that play every actual game with 250+fps while it feels in DCS like retarded... And our friends still think that whe "only play"... LOL Edited August 8, 2019 by viper2097 Steam user - Youtube I am for quality over quantity in DCS modules
Bullant Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 US$1100 for just the base? I'd love one, but at that price I am happy with my decision to go with the stick and throttle from winwing for $800 Intel i7 13700K @ 5.3 GHz / ASUS TUF Gaming Z490-Plus / 64 Gb G.Skill DDR4-3600 / RTX 4090 / 2TB Kingston KC3000 NVME / Win 10 x64 Pro / Pimax Crystal / WINWING F/A-18 HOTAS A-10C, AJS-37, AV-8B, F-4E, F-5E, F-14, F-15E, F-16, F/A-18C, F-86F, FC3, Christen Eagle 2, FW190D-9, Mosquito, P-47D, P-51D, Spitfire, AH-64D, KA-50, UH-1H Combined Arms, WWII Asset Pack, China Assets Pack, Super Carrier, Falklands Assets Nevada, Normandy, Persian Gulf, The Channel, Syria, Mariana Islands, South Atlantic, Sinai, Kola, Afghanistan
Manhorne Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Looks nice but as has been stated $1100 is a bit pricey for just a base . I am sure they will sell to those who have that kinda spare cash lying around but that is little more than most who would like to get one have to spend on top of everything else we get to play these sims....
RabidRider Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 VKB compatibility and extension and I'm sold. +1

I was also interested in it but at that price I gladly leave it where it is ..

Supmua Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 So, it’s compatible with TM-type socket which is a plus. I’m sort of hesitant at that price not really knowing this company and their support policy. Going to wait for more info, but FFB is something I’d like to get into (still have an old MS FFB stick). Imagine if the thing shakes like that on the video during AAR attempt, lol. PC: 5800X3D/4090, 11700K/3090, 9900K/2080Ti. tintifaxl Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Will be more like 1400 USD with shipping and VAT (where applicable). Windows 10 64bit, Intel i9-9900@5Ghz, 32 Gig RAM, MSI RTX 3080 TI, 2 TB SSD, 43" 2160p@1440p monitor.
