Brunner CLS-E's problem is the lacking Direct Input FFB support. They have to use telemetry data from DCS which is missing several effects. However a good old MS Sidewinder or a Logitech G940 is per

I’m interested but only if it is compatible with pre-existing TM/VPC grips. Price it below Brunner’s offering and it will probably sell very well.

Yeah, It would be good to have either grip compatibility from warthog, or at least offer a F16 style grip and maybe a Mig style grip in addition to the F18 grip. Also make them hot swappable in game :). Also compatible with extensions :)

Seconded. Plus, an option to keep TM Target compatibility like VKB drivers allow for their bases would be a major plus.

 

Then I could have another base option for my TM setup and I could ditch the G940 for good. Never really bother getting it out given its lousy software.

No idea if it is "worth" that amount, but sorry, WAY out of everything I could (or would) afford.

 

When did the "flight sim hobby" got so out of control?

Stick bases for 1000$+, HOTAS for 800$+, graphic cards for 1500$+, rudder pedals for 300$+, HMD's for 800$+, Throttle mods for 50$+, Seat covers for 150$+ and so on...

Never start to talk about a computer that play every actual game with 250+fps while it feels in DCS like retarded...

And our friends still think that whe "only play"... LOL

Looks nice but as has been stated $1100 is a bit pricey for just a base . I am sure they will sell to those who have that kinda spare cash lying around but that is little more than most who would like to get one have to spend on top of everything else we get to play these sims....

+1, The price is completely out of the market, with that money you get the joystick and throttle virpil and MFG pedals and you still have money for something else.

 

I was also interested in it but at that price I gladly leave it where it is ..

VKB grip compatibility with other brands controllers is locked in grip firmware, yes the grip has their own micro controller and firmware, so don't expect miracles. ;)

So, it’s compatible with TM-type socket which is a plus. I’m sort of hesitant at that price not really knowing this company and their support policy. Going to wait for more info, but FFB is something I’d like to get into (still have an old MS FFB stick).

 

Imagine if the thing shakes like that on the video during AAR attempt, lol.
