VMFA117_Poko Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Great vid! Thanks. There is big probability we'll see infantry. It does also mean there is a small propability we won't see them. Why? There is or might be a bugs with troops?

mvsgas Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Thanks Urze To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
Force_Feedback Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Yeah, it would be fun to start your own virtual holy war in the mountains, you'll recruit some brave warriors, arm them with rudimentary ak-47s, rpg-7s and Strela-2 missiles. When you shoot something down, or ambush those pesky governmental vehicles, you gwt better weapons, like DsHKMs, maybe a Zsu-23-2 and Iglas. After that, you'll have a force the opressors will to take into acount every time they decide of a nice flight over the region. No damn Ka-50 can beat a 3 point ambush, by the time the pilot knows what's happening at least 3 brave missiles would have hit it. Then you can capture the pilot and exchange him for more weapons. DCS: Mujahideen will feature all those features, and you'll be able to create your own idiotology to convert more followers in your online struggle for freedom, while experienced Ka-50 and Apache mercenary pilots would try to hunt you down in the mountains. Version 1.2 will feature new weapons and units, like women, foreign warriors, suicide bombers and a special comfy, modular Semtex belt system, allowing it to be carried by your smallest and thinnest, and thickest and tallest warrior of your predetermined faith. SEM-BELT-2000© will even allow to engage helicopters (only once) up to an altitude of 40 m, this due to the specialy designed fragmentation effect hat, with kevlar on the back side :P ^ I need a good operation flashpoint/Armed Assault campaign. :/ Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:

urze Posted December 15, 2007 Author Posted December 15, 2007 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=27096 Q: Your press release indicates that Black Shark is the first in a series of DCS modules, with more aircraft/helicopters to follow. How soon will these new aircraft become available? A: We are already developing the A-10A “Warthog" and AH-64A “Apache” (with planned front-seat / back-seat multiplayer) and other western and eastern aircraft will follow with an approximate interval of every nine months. To annouce these later aircraft now would be premature because plans can often change and lead to delays due to numerous factors such as our work in the equally important military simulation market. 1 Leftside Limited - ideas and solutions
Kuky Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 I guess they are makig translation into German, French and Spanish as there are numerious countries speaking each of the languages (alright, German not so many but still more then one) where as Italian is spoken only in Italy and Serbian only in Serbia :) No longer active in DCS...
ED Team JimMack Posted December 15, 2007 ED Team Posted December 15, 2007 Nice interview and very good news, thx alot!! Anyone noticed that he mentioned that the Apache will be next and not the A-10, while it has been announced in the past that the A-10 will be the next add-on? My mistake in the interview, it was a bit busy at the show! Next aircraft is planned to be A-10, not Apache. 1 Having problems?
