Any upcoming single player content to convince me to make the purchase?

 

No official announcements from 3rd party developers yet and obviously users don't have access yet.

 

But I'd say, don't let that hold you back

Ok, i pre ordered too... Please Ugra, make it be fast in VR! :)

 

+1 :). I hope it will work like PG or NTTR map, not worse (Vegas has a lot of objects too but FPS are very vice). I hope that Ugra paid attention to this and the optimization will be very good for VR users also. This map is "must to have" simply for me.

Desappointing, Hope I missed something in announce but it seems we will only have access to full price release.. strange commercial practices to forget steam users. We were used to get things later, but it's a new level..

I believe this is because Steam eats 30% of the product's value. I think ED should end pre-sale discounts on Steam. Of course, this is just a thought and I may be wrong. :thumbup:

Sorry you feel like this, this certainly wasn't our intent, of course we have no restrictions or rules for our products on our own E-Shop, with Steam, we have to jump through a lot more hoops, in this case, we couldn't make the pre-order happen.

 

Its announced on Steam as it is DCS World news that there is a discount and pre-order option available on the E-shop (we don't do separate newsletters for Steam), people can choose to move their purchases to the standalone if they like as well.

It's really your fault for going the Steam route. I mean, why would anyone get the game with Steam, when you don't need too. :doh:

 

Well in peoples defence, Steam can be easier as far as management, as well their download speeds can be better, but we are starting to catch up there.

Probably valve got salty they weren't getting their cut of the $$$ when you could move things from ED store to people's steam account, I imagine
