Authorizations shouldn't be tied to game versions. Everyone who updated the game is locked out of it without the 3 day long valid authorization for the last successful log in.

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record, I again request the simple addition of a 'cancel' button on the 502: Bad gateway error window (or frankly any error on load), so we don't have to spend time waiting to load into the sim, see we've lost access to all our modules, quite out, retry, and if successful, reset the backdrop in the sim. Or if unsuccessful, repeat....

I have the failed authorisation now as well... All my modules are blocked out, except of KA-50 and F15-E.

Timezone is set properly, so what to do? Switching between offline/online didn´t help either...

if they were modules purchased on steam check your dcs account and the steam link, hit the get licences button again. Recently the steam API has been flaky. 

If they are not steam modules linked, check your antivirus isnt creating a problem for DCS and run a repair or verify if steam.

You have got to be (*)&)*(^)^&*()B kidding me.  I spent an hour trying to figure this out.....

Clock on windows machine was wrong, set to AutoAdjust, and it's NEVER right. 

I *)(&(*&)( hate Microsoft.

My authorization failed with a 500 error after locking up the comments on your last webpage maintenance.  i dont really appreciate that. however i went through this thread and updated my computer time as suggested and no change.

Maybe you guys could message "Server down for maintenance" instead of Error 500.

Came here because I was wondering why I get this Error with the correct time on my machine.

Yeah, still I and others started bug hunting for a non existing bug, that could be prevented with a little message clientside.
Will something like that come with the new launcher?

i mean it took me the time to type in the error in my preferred search host to find:

My search brought up different time related solutions. Including the sites own translation of the error code.

I dont look weekly in the forum or where ever to search for clues. We have the technology :)

Hi, I've updated DCS to 2.9.6.57650 today and I'm getting error 500, but not when trying to log-in/authorize (this works), but when I'm trying to switch to offline mode. I don't get it.

am in online mode, I click that antenna button on main DCS screen to switch to offilne mode and... error 500, "Can't enter offline mode".

When I repeat this, I get 401 error instead. Any further attempts give 401, the error 500 only appears on the first attempt.

I tried it with this new "Launcher" thing enabled and disabled - no change.
Time & date in Windows set correctly.

Any idea what could be wrong?
Online mode is a bit of a no-go for me - my internet provider has become sloppy recently, so thanks to offline mode I don't need to worry about it (except for DCS updates, but they only take 10-15 minutes, once in a while).

I did a fresh DCS install today on a brand new PC today and logged in on my account. No paid modules have been installed yet. I get this error message although everything loads fine:

Authorization Failed
Failed to get authorization data. Error code is: 500
No saved authorization found.

I ran Repair then Cleanup, but the error is still there. 

Time and date is correct by the way.

I tried everything and am still getting error 500. Sent a ticket to ED, said it was an error on their end, and that was that. Never been fixed. Over a thousand dollars spent and its useless without internet.
